Abstract

AbstrakPetani milenial dikenal aktif dalam mengadopsi teknologi pertanian, memiliki ketertarikan terhadap sistem pertanian organik dan berkelanjutan, serta cenderung memanfaatkan platform digital untuk memasarkan hasil pertaniannya secara langsung. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini ditujukan untuk mendorong perubahan cara pandang generasi muda terhadap dunia pertanian, yang sering dianggap sebagai profesi tradisional dengan hasil ekonomi yang minim. Dalam kegiatan ini, pendekatan berupa diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) dan sosialisasi dijalankan guna memberikan pemahaman baru mengenai peluang bisnis di sektor pertanian. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta belum memahami pentingnya inovasi pertanian. Namun setelah pelaksanaan sosialisasi, terjadi lonjakan signifikan dalam tingkat pemahaman. Sebanyak 70% peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang baik. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa metode yang digunakan efektif dalam menanamkan pemikiran baru dan menumbuhkan semangat inovatif di kalangan petani muda. Kata kunci: petani milenial; transformasi; mindset; hasil panen; efektifitas AbstractMillennial farmers are known to be active in adopting agricultural technology, have an interest in organic and sustainable farming systems, and tend to leverage digital platforms to market their agricultural products directly. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to encourage a change in the perspective of the younger generation towards the agricultural sector, which is often seen as a traditional profession with minimal economic returns. In this activity, approaches such as focused group discussions (FGD) and socialization were carried out to provide new understanding regarding business opportunities in the agricultural sector. Pre-test results show that most participants did not understand the importance of agricultural innovation. However, after the socialization was conducted, a significant increase in the level of understanding occurred. As many as 70% of participants showed good improvement in understanding. This proves that the methods used are effective in instilling new thoughts and fostering an enthusiastic mindset. Keywords: millennial farmers; transformation; mindset; crop yield; effectiveness

Abstract

This study aims to examine the readiness of kindergarten (TK) teachers in East Kalimantan to implement the Independent Curriculum based on deep learning, focusing on both conceptual understanding and technical application. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design was used. Five teachers from two kindergartens were selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model (reduction, display, conclusion). All teachers demonstrated a strong conceptual grasp of the Independent Curriculum and deep learning, understood as meaningful and reflective learning. However, the technical readiness varied. Teachers at Handayani 1 Kindergarten, who had attended training, were more capable of designing learning tools aligned with deep learning principles. In contrast, Handayani’s two teachers relied mainly on intuitive practices owing to limited access to training and facilities. Nevertheless, classroom observations revealed practices consistent with the curriculum, including exploratory, experience-based activities, and flexible lesson implementation.  This study identifies the phenomenon of teachers’ “intuitive readiness” in curriculum reform, contributing to the theory of teacher preparedness. This suggests the need for continuous reflective training, stronger professional learning communities, and systemic support to enhance deep learning implementation in early childhood education.

Abstract

Komunikasi yang efektif sangat mempengaruhi kondisi pasien. Tidak hanya berdampak kepada pasien, komunikasi yang efektif juga memberikan dampak positif kepada pendamping (caregive) karena mendapatkan kemudahan untuk mengidentifikasi serta merespon secara tepat dan efektif pemenuhan kebutuhan pasien. Oleh karena itu sebagai seorang caregiver harus dapat menjalin komunikasi yang efektif dengan pasien karena kesembuhan pasien adalah prioritas pendamping. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang pentingnya komunikasi dalam proses pendampingan pemulihan pasien kanker dengan sasaran pendamping (caregiver) dan pasien kanker. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, identifikasi masalah, penyusunan materi,  pendekatan melalui kegiatan FGD, evaluasi menggunakan pretest   dan   posttes. Hasil menunjukkan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta dari 29% meningkat hingga 71% dan dapat memperbaiki komunikasi antara caregiver dan pasien kanker itu sendiri. Komunikasi yang baik akan berdampak positif bagi kesembuhan pasien kanker. Pembentukan  kelompok  diskusi caregiver dan pasien kanker menjadi langkah strategis untuk menjaga keberlanjutan program ini.

Abstract

Study of brain function development in early childhood in the context of community service in KB Pelita Hati Bakuan. This study aims to improve teachers' and parents' understanding of the importance of proper monitoring and stimulation of early childhood brain function development. However, in its application, problems arise, teachers experience problems in terms of recognizing children's brain function and are less able to identify student development. The solution to the problems faced by teachers and parents is to provide knowledge about recognizing the development of children's brain function and providing appropriate stimuli to help child development. This research helps educators facilitate the development of children's brain function potential optimally and build good cooperation between teachers and parents to support children's academic development. The research method used is a survey and data collection from related literature. The results showed an improvement, shown from the results of the pree-test initially achieved 60%, and after being given training and understanding, the post-test achieved the target of 95% of the 16 (sixteen) participants who participated, there was a significant increase in participants by 35% after participating in training activities. Thus, collaboration between experts, parents, and communities in providing the resources and support needed to improve the quality of early childhood education. This Community Service Research emphasizes the need for a holistic approach to supporting the optimal development of children's brains, as well as the importance of increasing public awareness of their role in creating an environment that supports children's growth and development.
