Abstract

AbstrakTulisan ini memaparkan hasil belajar bahasa tulis peserta didik asing yang belajar bahasa Indonesia. Penggunaan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa kedua (L2) atau bahasa asing oleh penutur asing tentunya tidak terlepas dari kesalahan. Kesalahan bahasa tulis tersebut dapat terjadi karena berbagai hal, seperti pengaruh bahasa ibu, kurangnya pemahaman pengguna bahasa terhadap bahasa yang mereka gunakan, dan pengajaran bahasa yang tidak sempurna. Melalui penelitian ini, kesalahan bahasa tertulis terjadi ketika penutur asing menggunakan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa kedua atau bahasa asing. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kesalahan bahasa tertulis terjadi pada pembelajar bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing? Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mereview dokumen berupa essay yang ditulis oleh peserta didik BIPA. Akibatnya banyak terjadi kesalahan bahasa pada ranah morfologi, semantik, dan sintaksis pada karangan peserta didik BIPA di Pusat Bahasa Jawa Barat. Dari data yang dikumpulkan, seperti ketidaktepatan penggunaan kosakata dalam kalimat; afiksasi, seperti ketidaktepatan penggunaan imbuhan; dan reduplikasi, seperti ketidaktepatan dalam menggunakan pengulangan.Keywords: BIPA, Kesalahan Bahasa, bahasa Indonesia tulisAbstractThis paper describes the output of written-language learning process from foreign learners of bahasa Indonesia. The use of Indonesian as a second language (L2) or a foreign language by foreign speakers is certainly not error-free. Written language errors can occur due to various things, such as the influence of learners’ mother tongue, learners’ lack of understanding about the language they use, and inadequate language teaching. In this research, written language errors occured when foreign speakers used bahasa Indonesia as a second language or foreign language. The main problem in this study is how written language errors occurred among foreign learners of bahasa Indonesia. This research was conducted using the qualitative descriptive method. The data was collected by reviewing documents of essays written by BIPA students at the West Java Language Center. As a result, several language errors in the essays were detected in morphological, semantic, and syntactic domains. From the data collected, some examples were inaccurate use of vocabulary in sentences; affixations, such as inappropriate use of affixes; and reduplication, such as imprecision in using reduplicated words.Keywords: BIPA, Language Errors, Written bahasa Indonesi

Abstract

Social media is a collection of digital applications that enable users to interact online by sharing information in the form of photos, videos, news, and short stories. This convenience has made the dissemination of information rapid and widespread. However, alongside these advantages come challenges, particularly the use of impolite language that can disrupt communication, both in process and content. In such a context, it is essential to foster awareness of polite language use in social media, especially within communities that embrace diversity. Kampung Sawah, a Betawi community located in Jatimurni Subdistrict, offers a unique example of harmony, where three houses of worship mosque, church, and chapel stand side by side. Residents of different faiths Islam, Christianity, and Catholicism have long maintained familial ties dating back to before Indonesia's independence. This harmony is sustained through shared customs, culture, and language. Therefore, training in polite message writing for social media targeted at residents, teachers, students, and parents of SD (elementary school) in Kampung Sawah is of great significance. The training focused on writing messages that promote tolerance and unity, as well as identifying polite and impolite language forms. The results show an improvement in the ability to write respectfully using strategies such as direct speech, positive and negative politeness, and off-record strategies. With this understanding, community members are better equipped to avoid profanity, curses, and expressions that degrade others, while fostering wisdom and setting a positive example in their digital communication practices.    Abstrak Media sosial merupakan kumpulan aplikasi digital yang memungkinkan penggunanya berinteraksi secara daring dengan berbagi informasi dalam bentuk foto, video, berita, hingga cerita singkat. Kemudahan ini membuat penyebaran informasi menjadi sangat cepat dan luas. Namun, di balik kemudahan tersebut, muncul tantangan berupa penggunaan bahasa yang tidak santun, yang dapat mengganggu jalannya komunikasi, baik dari segi proses maupun isi pesan. Di tengah situasi ini, penting untuk mengembangkan kesadaran berbahasa santun dalam bermedia sosial, terutama di komunitas dengan latar belakang keberagaman. Kampung Sawah, sebuah komunitas masyarakat Betawi di Kelurahan Jatimurni, menjadi contoh unik kerukunan, di mana tiga rumah ibadah berdiri berdekatan, dan masyarakat Islam, Kristen, serta Katolik hidup berdampingan dalam ikatan kekeluargaan yang telah terjalin jauh sebelum Indonesia merdeka. Harmoni ini dijaga melalui kesamaan adat, budaya, dan bahasa. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan menulis pesan santun di media sosial bagi warga, guru, murid, dan orang tua murid SD di Kampung Sawah menjadi sangat penting. Pelatihan ini menekankan pada penulisan pesan yang mendukung kerukunan dan toleransi, serta mengenalkan bentuk-bentuk bahasa yang santun dan tidak santun. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan menulis secara santun dengan pendekatan strategi pembicaraan langsung, kesantunan positif dan negatif, serta strategi pembicaraan semu. Dengan pemahaman ini, masyarakat mampu menghindari penggunaan makian, umpatan, dan ungkapan yang merendahkan, serta menumbuhkan sikap bijak dan memberi contoh positif dalam komunikasi digital sehari-hari.

Abstract

Vocabulary is the most important aspect and also the main foundation in Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) or Indonesian as a Foreign Language (IFL) to foreign learning to improve foreign language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In practice, remembering and using new vocabulary is still an obstacle for foreign learners in communicating, so there needs to be an appropriate learning method to overcome this, namely by using the Total Physical Response (TPR) method, a method that connects commands, speech and movement. This article was written using the literature review method by analyzing 10 national and international studies related to the effectiveness of the TPR method in learning. Based on the research that has been analyzed, it shows that the TPR method makes learning more effective; makes learners feel happy, enthusiastic and actively participates during the learning process; effective for speaking and writing skills; motivates children to be interested in learning, especially training listening; improves vocabulary skills from the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains; helps learners learn vocabulary and makes learners more active and confident; learning becomes fun, learners become more active, helps students remember and improve word mastery; has a significant good influence, namely it can improve understanding, practice, respond, mention and show various types of vocabulary that have been learned; improve vocabulary process and mastery; able to improve children's motor skills; and make learners quickly master learning materials.

Abstract

The Use of Ngapak Javanese Vocabulary in Indonesian Code Mixing.This qualitative phenomenological study examines Javanese Ngapak-Indonesian code mixing in everyday interactions in Central Java. Through observation and transcription of native speaker conversations, it was found that the integration of Ngapak vocabulary not only enriches the linguistic dimension, but also becomes an expression of cultural identity and social adaptation. This phenomenon is relevant in various domains (home, market, office, digital) and has implications for BIPA learning, where understanding code mixing improves learners' communicative competence. This finding confirms the role of regional languages ​​in maintaining Indonesia's cultural diversity in the era of globalization.
