Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada realitas implementasi pembelajaran seni musik di dua sekolah menengah di Bandung, yaitu SMA Labschool UPI Bandung (sekolah swasta) dan SMAN 19 Bandung (sekolah negeri). Kedua sekolah ini mewakili model kurikulum yang berbeda, yaitu Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode utama yaitu wawancara dan teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlu adanya peningkatan layanan pembelajaran yang optimal dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran seni musik di kedua sekolah yang diteliti. Faktor-faktor tersebut seperti keterbatasan jumlah guru, fasilitas, sarana, prasarana, dan media pembelajaran. Kelengkapan layanan pembelajaran optimal terbukti dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran seni musik. Oleh karena itu, apapun jenis kurikulum yang diterapkan, penyediaan sumber daya dan dukungan merupakan elemen kunci dalam membentuk siswa untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran seni musik

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang menekankan penguasaan sejumlah konsep/informasi kepada peserta didik menyebabkan pasifnya peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari di kelas X analis kimia SMK Negeri penyelenggara layanan pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung dalam dua siklus dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Sintak model terdiri dari enam fase, yaitu menyampaikan tujuan, menyajikan informasi, mengorganisasi siswa, membimbing kelompok belajar, evaluasi, dan memberikan penghargaan. Setelah dua siklus model tersebut diterapkan dalam pembelajaran tari, kemampuan peserta didik dalam berinteraksi sosial dengan teman sebaya dan guru meningkat. Pengorganisasian siswa melalui kerjasama dan berkolaborasi dalam seting belajar kelompok komunikasi dan interaksi terjalin aktif. Hal tersebut dengan kenaikan rerata siklus I dengan presentase 62,88% dalam kategori mampu, ke siklus II dengan presentase 88,75% dalam kategori sangat mampu untuk berinteraksi sosial antar siswa dengan siswa lainnya. Pentingnya penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat berperan pada peningkatan kemampuan sosial peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pelestarian nilai budaya lokal dalam pendidikan nasional melalui seni tari tradisional. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menelaah relevansi Trilogi Pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara Ing Ngarso Sung Tuladha, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, Tut Wuri Handayani dalam falsafah ragam gerak Tari Guel Gayo. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnokoreologi, melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis deskriptif-interpretatif digunakan untuk mengungkap makna simbolik gerak dan nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Guel Gayo merepresentasikan nilai kebersamaan, kesopanan, penghormatan terhadap leluhur, keseimbangan spiritual, dan keteguhan hidup yang sejalan dengan prinsip keteladanan, pemberdayaan, serta pendampingan dalam Trilogi Pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkaya kajian paradigma pendidikan berbasis budaya lokal, sedangkan secara praktis memberikan implikasi pada pengembangan model pembelajaran seni berbasis nilai karakter dan kearifan lokal.

Abstract

The development of culture-based tourism villages still faces obstacles to integrating artistic potential into the tourism system and creating sustainable economic value. One alternative that can be implemented is educational tourism arts that combine elements of art, education, and tourist participation in an integrative empowerment model. The objective of this activity is to develop innovative bamboo woven craft products and Angklung Sered performances as tourist attractions in Sukaluyu Village. The method used is community-based participatory research. Partners involved in this activity are the Sered Angklung Studio and the village's Youth Organization. The activity stages include partner determination, problem identification, needs mapping, innovation formulation, program socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity indicate that the Sered Angklung Studio can produce educational tourism arts innovations that are more participatory, concise, interactive, and engaging, and that contain educational value. Meanwhile, the Youth Organization developed miniature traditional kitchen utensils as a learning medium based on local wisdom, with both educational and economic value. These two innovative products were then integrated into the development of the pilot tourism village. In addition to producing innovative cultural products, this activity strengthens the role of cultural education, expands community participation, and creates new economic opportunities for residents.   Abstrak Pengembangan desa wisata berbasis budaya masih menghadapi kendala dalam mengintegrasikan potensi seni ke dalam sistem pariwisata serta menciptakan nilai ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat diterapkan adalah seni wisata pendidikan yang menggabungkan unsur seni, edukasi, dan partisipasi wisatawan dalam model pemberdayaan yang integratif. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan inovasi produk kerajinan anyaman bambu dan pertunjukan Angklung Sered sebagai atraksi wisata di Desa Sukaluyu. Metode yang digunakan adalah community-based participatory research. Mitra yang dilibatkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Sanggar Angklung Sered dan Karang Taruna desa. Tahapan kegiatan mencakup penetapan mitra, identifikasi persoalan, pemetaan kebutuhan, perumusan inovasi, sosialisasi program, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Sanggar Angklung Sered mampu menghasilkan inovasi seni wisata pendidikan yang lebih partisipatif, ringkas, interaktif, menarik, dan mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan. Sementara itu, Karang Taruna mengembangkan miniatur perkakas dapur tradisional sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal yang memiliki nilai edukatif sekaligus nilai ekonomi. Kedua produk inovasi tersebut kemudian diintegrasikan sebagai bagian dari pengembangan desa wisata rintisan. Selain menghasilkan inovasi produk budaya, kegiatan ini turut memperkuat fungsi edukasi budaya, memperluas partisipasi masyarakat, serta membuka peluang ekonomi baru bagi warga setempat. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical and philosophical meanings contained in the kacapi instrument in the Karungut oral tradition of the Dayak Ngaju people in Central Kalimantan and its relevance to Ki Hadjar Dewantara's philosophy of education. Using descriptive-ethnographic qualitative methods, this study explores the symbolic and moral dimensions of the kacapi instrument and Karungut as a form of cultural pedagogy. The results show that the kacapi functions not only as a musical accompaniment, but also as a symbol of balance, spirituality, and wisdom, which is embodied through symbolic ornaments such as Batang Garing and Burung Enggang. This representation is in line with Ki Hadjar Dewantara's three principles of education, namely Ing Ngarso SungTulodo, Ing Madyo Mangun Karso, and Tut Wuri Handayani, which emphasize character building through exemplary behavior, guidance, and freedom of expression. Thus, the recontextualization of the kacapi in the Karungut tradition becomes a form of culture-based arts education that fosters moral character, ecological awareness, and cultural identity.

Abstract

The teaching of arts and culture in schools, including theater, plays a crucial role in shaping students' appreciation, imagination, and creativity towards aesthetic values and local and global culture. Through role-playing, performances, and appreciation activities, students not only learn performance techniques but also understand complex human experiences such as conflict, sacrifice, and hope. The success of this process is largely determined by the teacher's choice of teaching methods, especially in the context of traditional Indonesian theater for 10th grade high school students, which requires a balance between artistic aspects and character building. The role- playing method has proven to be effective because it encourages students to explore feelings, attitudes, values, skills, and knowledge through performance and reflective discussion after the performance. This study examines the application of role playing in the script Senja Adegan 2 by Gunawan Wibisana Danubrata, highlighting its relevance to Ki Hadjar Dewantara's perspective, which emphasizes the harmony of thought, feeling, and intention as the basis of character. Through analysis of the performance process and results, the findings are expected to contribute to the development of creative, contextual, student-centered theater learning strategies that are in line with national educational values and character education objectives in secondary schools.

Abstract

Traditional musical instruments possess philosophical, historical, and social values ​​that can reveal past civilizations and serve as a medium for cultural communication (Mufarizuddin, 2022; Agustinus, 2024). In Bengkulu, the Dol serves as a symbol of cultural identity and the primary instrument in the Tabot ritual. It also contains educational elements such as mathematics, physics, and character building. This study analyzes the implementation of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Educational Trilogy—Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, Tut Wuri Handayani—in preserving Dol as a cultural heritage. The research method employed a descriptive qualitative approach with literature analysis and the integration of quotations and empirical findings from various studies on organology, ethnomathematics, and character education. The results indicate that Dol can serve as a medium for character formation for the younger generation through role models of preservation, creative empowerment in the production process, and mentoring in musical practice. Dol preservation also faces challenges such as a lack of promotional media and the threat of a breakdown in the transmission of playing techniques. This study confirms that local culture-based education has strategic potential for revitalizing traditional musical instruments while strengthening students' character.
