Abstract

Balai merupakan sarana penting bagi masyarakat dalam pertemuan rutin. Kegiatan di Balai tidak hanya sebagai tempat pertemuan rutin, namun juga sebagai wadah warga setempat dalam bersosialisasi sehari-hari. Selama ini warga Kelurahan Petompon, Gajahmungkur, Semarang tidak mempunyai balai untuk pertemuan. Aktivitas warga untuk pertemuan rutin bulanan memanfaatkan rumah warga yang mendapat kesempatan jadi tuan rumah. Lokasi lahan sudah disediakan oleh pengurus RT. Bantuan desain ini meliputi pengumpulan data, analisa kebutuhan, perencanaan desain, dan pendampingan pada proses pembangunan. Bantuan desain ini merupakan inisiatif untuk memberikan usulan bentuk bangunan yang tepat sasaran dari segi bentuk, dan kebutuhan. Diharapkan dengan adanya bantuan desain Balai ini, masyarakat dapat memiliki balai yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan memiliki kualitas yang baik. Selain itu, pembangunan balai juga dapat memperkuat ikatan sosial antar warga di Kelurahan Petompon.

Abstract

Fashion serves as a medium of self-expression and identity (Kadek & Diantari, 2021), yet rapid industrialization has accelerated fast fashion cycles that generate 2.3 million tons of textile waste annually in Indonesia 12% of total household waste (waste4change, 2023). As Jakarta's fashion epicenter, South Jakarta hosts prestigious events like Jakarta Fashion Week and houses traditional weaving industries (Soe Jakarta, CTI), but lacks dedicated infrastructure for sustainable innovation. Responding to this gap, the Tenun Fashion Hub integrates circular economy principles extending product lifecycles through recycling and repair with revitalization of traditional weaving as a slow fashion alternative (Ummah, 2019; SMB Museum, 2019). The project adopts expressionist architecture to translate weaving motifs into kinetic facades and organic forms, symbolizing cultural sustainability while creating an iconic landmark in this dynamic district. Functioning as a hybrid space, it combines: (1) a production center for upcycled textiles; (2) collaborative studios for designers and artisans to preserve Indonesia’s weaving heritage (Tengku Ryo Rizqan, 2019); and (3) educational workshops promoting eco-friendly techniques. By merging closed-loop systems with cultural narratives, the hub establishes a prototype for sustainable urban fashion districts that combat environmental damage while empowering local craftsmanship.

Abstract

Poverty is a social phenomenon almost as old as the age of human civilization. Poverty and welfare are likened to two sides of a coin that are inseparable from how good the country's government is. Poverty indicators are generally caused by limited access to public services, the difficulty of accessing and receiving health services, the difficulty of getting easy access to information, and so on. Thus, the involvement of the bureaucracy, namely the government, is important because the problem of Poverty is the state's responsibility as the holder of government. The problem of Poverty is a complex problem that must be handled comprehensively across sectors, continuously and synergistically. This is because the problem of Poverty is the source and development of social problems, one of which is uninhabitable housing; therefore, Poverty must be handled seriously by both the government and society. The purpose of this event is to educate and help level the development of healthy and habitable houses, especially for the community in Kandri Village, Gunung Pati. This study enables researchers to gather objective data by identifying and characterizing current events through a qualitative approach. Gunung Pati District boasts potential natural resources that can be developed for agriculture, fisheries, plantations, and nature tourism. However, parts of the Kandri Village still face economic disparities. This situation is exacerbated by limited infrastructure, such as damaged roads and inadequate drainage, resulting in uneven development. Therefore, the Semarang City Government is implementing the Healthy and Livable Homes (Ruslani) program, which involves outreach, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
