Abstract

Every citizen has rights and responsibilities in the preservation of nature and the environment. This research discusses the ecological citizenship profile of river communities, including awareness of ecological citizenship rights and obligations, participation, and awareness of collective responsibility in preserving the ecosystem while managing the Deli River. The research method employed is qualitative, focusing on a deep understanding of the context, meaning, and characteristics of the phenomenon. The findings indicate that the reality of Deli River environmental management reflects a lack of awareness regarding rights and obligations as citizens in the context of ecological citizenship. A major indicator is the high level of water pollution in the Deli River, stemming from poorly managed industrial and domestic activities, leading to water quality issues, including pollution from industrial waste, household waste, and agricultural pesticide use. The significance of community involvement in Deli River management entails active participation in maintaining river cleanliness, waste management, and environmental conservation efforts to ensure the preservation of the river ecosystem.

Abstract

Abuse of narcotics and dangerous drugs (Drugs) is a phenomenon that has long existed and is experienced by all countries in the world. Abuse of narcotics and dangerous drugs is included in transnational crimes considering that the chain of drug abuse includes trade and production activities. The method used in this research is the sociological juridical method, where this method is used for an approach that explains a statement at the scene of the incident based on legal principles. Seeing the phenomenon of narcotics abusers and victims increasing in number day by day, it is time for law enforcement officials to align their perceptions and views in responding to this phenomenon. The similarities that the author means here are the same views and perceptions of law enforcers, both from the National Narcotics Agency, the Police, the Prosecutor's Office and the District Court, regarding drug abusers and victims of narcotics as victims and not criminals. Economic Factors: Difficulty finding work gives rise to the desire to work as a drug dealer. Someone who is financially well off, but lacks enough attention from their family or is in the wrong environment, is more likely to become a drug user. A crisis in the economic sector can bring children to unemployment, homelessness and other diseases in society.
