Abstract

This study investigates the influence of transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and burnout on turnover intention among Generation Z employees in Indonesian start-up companies. Utilizing a quantitative research approach with 150 respondents from fintech, e-commerce, and logistics start-ups in Jakarta and Bandung, data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly enhances job satisfaction and reduces burnout, but it does not directly affect turnover intention. Burnout significantly increases turnover intention, while job satisfaction does not serve as a significant mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership or burnout and turnover intention. These results highlight burnout as a critical factor driving employee turnover and suggest that leadership strategies alone are insufficient to retain Gen Z talent. The study underscores the importance of addressing emotional well-being, work-life balance, and organizational support systems to mitigate turnover in high-pressure start-up environments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at how job happiness, work motivation, and work environment affect employee performance at the PT. Gelora Mandiri Membangun. Job satisfaction comprises addressing employees' emotional needs and expectations while carrying out their duties. Work motivation is classified into inner elements, such as a sense of accomplishment and self-development, and external factors, such as financial incentives and recognition. The work environment encompasses the physical and social circumstances that either help or impede employee productivity. This study employs a quantitative approach using survey methodologies. The sample comprised of 100 purposively selected respondents. Multiple linear regression approaches were used to determine the impact of independent factors (job happiness, work motivation, and work environment) on the dependent variable (employee performance). The research findings indicate that the third independent variable, job happiness, work motivation, and work environment, has a favorable and significant impact on employee performance. Work motivation was determined to be the most important element impacting employee performance. Furthermore, regression research reveals that the combination of these three factors may account for 65% of the variation in employee performance. Thus, enhancing job happiness, motivation, and work environment will have a major impact on staff performance at PT. Gelora Mandiri Membangun. According to the findings of this research, firms should prioritize techniques that raise motivation and job satisfaction, as well as improve the work environment, in order to boost productivity. Continuous staff development and welfare enhancement activities are recommended.

Abstract

Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan tata kelola, harmonisasi definisi, peningkatan kapabilitas Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV), dan partisipasi aktif dalam ekosistem kebijakan merupakan langkah strategis untuk memperbesar kontribusi green loan dalam transisi menuju keuangan berkelanjutan.ABSTRACTThis study examines the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) of effectiveness of green loan implementation at PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The analysis focuses on internal factors (capital adequacy, operational efficiency, ESG governance, MRV capabilities, and digitalization) and external factors (regulations, fiscal incentives, market conditions, and stakeholder pressure). The SWOT mapping reveals strengths such as strong capital, operational efficiency, and product innovation; weaknesses including inefficiencies, high NPLs, and limited project pipelines; opportunities related to the sustainable finance roadmap and green market demand; and threats stemming from regulatory uncertainty, greenwashing risks, and macroeconomic volatility. Integrating the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Institutional Theory, the findings highlight that internal capacities are only effective when supported by a stable regulatory framework and mature market ecosystem. The study concludes that strengthening governance, harmonizing definitions, enhancing Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) capabilities, and engaging in policy ecosystems are key strategies to maximize the contribution of green loans in the transition toward sustainable finance.

Abstract

East Kalimantan Province is one of the largest coal producers in Indonesia. Mining activities often have a negative impact on the environment, making it important to manage reclamation effectively. The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the management of reclamation and post-mining at PT XYZ to minimize the negative impacts of mining activities. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants involved were purposively selected to gain an in-depth understanding of reclamation practices. The results show that PT XYZ routinely conducts reclamation and post-mining activities. However, the implementation has not been fully optimized due to various constraints, including the lack of a good reclamation plan, adequate funding and the involvement of all relevant parties. To minimize the negative impacts of mining activities, a strong commitment from the company, community and government is needed to create sustainable and environmentally friendly mining operations. This study provides important insights into reclamation practices and managerial approaches that can be adopted by other companies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of cost management and human resource management (HR) on operational excellence monitored through the Balance Scorecard framework in the oil and gas and limited energy industry in Indonesia. In facing the challenges of the energy transition towards Net Zero Emission 2060, oil and gas companies need to optimize operational efficiency through effective cost management and optimal human resource management. This study uses a quantitative approach with Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and multiple linear regression techniques. Data was collected through a questionnaire of 71 respondents consisting of company leaders, managers, and operational staff in oil and gas and mining companies with at least 3 years of experience. The results showed that cost management had a significant effect on operational excellence with a regression coefficient of 0.454 (t-count = 4.941 > t-table = 1.9960). HR management has a stronger influence on operational excellence with a regression coefficient of 0.486 (t-count = 5.288 > t-table = 1.9960). Simultaneously, the two variables were able to explain 79.5% of the variance in operational excellence (R² = 0.795). The Balance Scorecard has proven to be effective as a holistic monitoring tool that integrates financial and non-financial aspects. This research provides a practical contribution for energy companies in optimizing operational strategies through the synergy of cost management and human resource management supported by a dynamic BSC monitoring system.

Abstract

This study aims to compare investment and operational costs between electric trucks (Electric Vehicles/EV) and diesel trucks (Internal Combustion Engine/ICE) in coal transportation activities in Kutai Barat Regency. The main issue addressed is the high investment cost of electric vehicles and their suboptimal operational productivity compared to conventional vehicles. A employed using descriptive statistics and the non-parametric Mann–Whitney U test. Data were collected from actual operational measurements of both vehicle types. The results show that electric trucks have significantly higher investment costs than diesel trucks. However, in terms of energy efficiency, electric trucks offer significant savings up to 72.9% in energy costs. Meanwhile, operational and total costs between the two truck types were not statistically different. In terms of productivity and daily output capacity, diesel trucks were significantly superior. These findings suggest the adoption of a mixed-fleet strategy and underscore the importance of developing supporting infrastructure such as swab charging stations to optimize the role of electric vehicles in the mining sector.
