Abstract

Abstrak kebutuhan akan energi semakin meningkat seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi didunia, terutama kebutuhan energi elektrik yang semakin lama semakin banyak. air garam dapat dijadikan salah satu sumber energi alternative sebagai media yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan sumber energi elektrik. Air garam yang sering ditemui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari adalah NaCl atau biasa disebut sebagai garam dapur. Dengan jembatan garam sederhana yang dibuat, dipercobakan bagaimana media air garam bereaksi dengan elektrode dalam menghasilkan energi elektrik. Percobaan ini menggunakan 3 elektrode berbeda yaitu besi (Fe), almunium (Al) dan seng (Zn). Kata kunci : air garam, elektrik, elektrode, jembatan garam Abstract the need for energy is increasing along with technological advancements in the world, especially the need for electrical energy which is increasingly increasing. salt water can be used as an alternative energy source as a medium used to produce electrical energy sources. Salt water that is often found in everyday life is NaCl or commonly referred to as kitchen salt. With a simple salt bridge made, it was tested how salt water media reacted with the electrode to produce electrical energy. Abstract

The success of a broiler chicken business is determined by the harvest results obtained. A good cage and chicken care system can maximize the harvest that will be obtained. The ideal chicken coop is one that has air quality, temperature and humidity that comply with the provisions. Detecting levels of ammonia gas and other gases that are harmful to chickens can be done using an air quality detector. However, what is becoming an obstacle for breeders is that the price of the detector equipment is quite expensive. So a more economical and efficient ammonia gas detection system is needed. In this research, a system for detecting temperature, humidity and ammonia gas levels was created which can be monitored remotely. This research starts from analysis, design, implementation and continues with evaluation. From the research results it was found that the control system can work well, if the ammonia gas level is high then the blower will be ON, and if the ammonia gas has reached the ideal value then the blower will be Off. And when the cage temperature is lower than specified, the incandescent lamp will be on, and vice versa. Apart from that, measured parameters can be displayed on the IoT (Internet of Things) system so that it can increase the efficiency of farmer performance.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang terletak di garis khatulistiwa, memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan energi angin, berkat posisinya yang berada di jalur pergerakan angin tropis. Sehingga, memanfaatkan energi angin merupakan solusi yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi yang terus meningkat dan mendukung transisi menuju sistem energi yang lebih bersih dan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi inovatif berupa pengembangan turbin angin jenis Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) yang lebih efisien di area terbatas, seperti atap bangunan. VAWT memiliki keunggulan dalam menangkap angin dari berbagai arah, menjadikannya lebih cocok untuk lokasi dengan variasi arah angin yang tidak tetap. Abstract

Jabalsari Village is one of the villages in Tulungagung district where the majority of the people make their living as farmers. Most of the agricultural system in Jabalsari Village still uses conventional methods. Apart from the method used, the energy source used in agricultural equipment still uses fossil fuels. Continuous use of fossil energy can disrupt the environmental ecosystem and will eventually run out. So, this Community Service activity aims to introduce renewable energy as an energy source for agricultural equipment. The method of implementing this activity is socialization. Socialization was carried out by providing explanations about renewable energy and its implementation. The activity began with an explanation from the PkM resource person and continued with a question and answer session between the lecturer and members of the Jabalsari village farmer group. The people of Jabalsari village who have participated in the activity have a better understanding of renewable energy and its implementation. Through this activity, it is hoped that farmers in Jabalsari village will understand the implementation of renewable energy in the agricultural sector and be able to put it into practice.
