Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of guided inquiry-based LKPD for practicing science process skills in class VII life organization system material at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall development model which is carried out through six stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. The research subjects were 10 class VII students at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya with 3 high ability students, 4 medium ability students and 3 low ability students. The instruments used were validation sheets and science process skills assessment sheets which were validated by 5 validators. The results of the validation analysis from the aspects of appropriateness of content, language, presentation and graphics using Aiken's V obtained an average value of 0.91 which was declared valid, and an ICC reliability value of 0.82 was obtained in the good category. The results of the analysis of students' science process skills from the aspects of observing, asking, hypothesizing, grouping, applying concepts, and concluding obtained an average score of 88.33% in the very good category. This can be concluded that the LKPD is suitable for use as teaching material.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the content validity, inter-rater reliability, item validity, and item reliability of the Go-Green Movement Inventory (GGMI) instrument developed for high school students. The instrument development process utilized the Research & Development (R&D) method by Borg and Gall in Sugiyono (2019), up to the fourth stage. Prior to testing the instrument with 148 high school students, validation was conducted by 5 experts comprising two university lecturers and three high school teachers. The research findings indicate that the content validity analysis of the Go-Green Movement Inventory (GGMI) instrument for high school students is valid, as evidenced by Vhitung > Vtabel, specifically 0.89 > 0.87. Inter-rater reliability analysis yielded a score of 0.79, categorized as moderate. Item validity analysis revealed that out of 30 statement items, 2 items were rejected: item number 13 and 30, while the rest were accepted. Item reliability analysis showed a person reliability value of 0.80, indicating good consistency in student responses, and an item reliability of 0.96, indicating excellent quality of individual items. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was 0.83, indicating good overall interaction between respondents and item statements.

Abstract

This research development model is based on research and development by Borg & Gall with changes by Sugiyono (2019) which only focuses on five stages: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The purpose of this research is to create and develop E-Booklets as learning media to be tested for validity and reliability, so they are feasible to use. Instrument validation was carried out by two validators using the Guttman scale. Media validation was carried out by five validators using four rating scales based on the Likert scale. Validation is done by filling out a closed questionnaire. Media E-Booklet validation to assess four elements: format, content, language, and practicality. The E-Booklet validation analysis used the Aiken's V method and the reliability test used ICC. The results of the ICC reliability of 0.933 and the validity of Aiken of 0.95 place it in a very good category. The results of the validation show that the E-Booklet on the sub-material of the role of bacteria for class X SMA is a good learning medium so it is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

The lack of variety in using learning media makes learning tend to be monotonous and influential on the low of motivation and learning interest of students. The use of digital-based media such as powerpoint, learning videos, and learning websites is not supportive for use because of the limited projector available in schools. With this problem, teachers are more frequent using nondigital-based media such as charta and props until leading to lack of variety in using media. As such, innovation is needed in the use of nondigital-based media such as scrapbook to make the media used is more varied. The aim of this research is to develop and determine the feasibility of the scrapbook on the material of excretion system for eighth grade in junior high school. The method used is research and development. The feasibility test of the scrapbook is carried out by five validators, they are two lecturers of Biology Education in Tanjungpura University and three science teachers in junior high school 1 Selakau, Sambas Regency. The instrument used in data collection is validation sheet. Data analysis using the Aiken (1985) formula. The results of research show that the value in aspect of material, language, graphic components, construction components, and practicality is included in the valid category with a validation average value of all aspects is 0.91. Based on the results of the data analysis from this research, it can be concluded that scrapbook on the material of excretion system for eighth grade in junior high school is worth using as learning media.
