ABSTRACT Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in toddlers which is characterized by shorter height if it is compared to the children in their age. The incidence of stunting in children under five years old is one of the global nutritional problems. To analyze the motivation and performance of posyandu cadres in preventing stunting in the work area of the community health center. This type of research was descriptive correlational with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling using a total sampling technique amounted to 68 respondents. The instrument used was questionnaires. Data analysis using Chi square test research site at Kedawung Public Health Center. The results showed that of the 68 respondents most of them had high motivation as many 44 people with a percentage of 64.7%. And the performance of cadres mostly showed good performance as many 40 people with a percentage of 58.8%. The results of the chi square test get a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion Ho is rejected, then this means that there is a relationship between motivation and performance of the Cadres in the Stunting Prevention Program in working are of Kedawung Public Health Center Keywords: Motivation, Cadre, Performance, Stunting ABSTRAK Stunting adalah masalah gizi kronis pada balita yang ditandai dengan tinggi badan yang lebih pendek dibandingkan dengan anak seusianya. Kejadian stunting pada balita merupakan salah satu masalah gizi global. Sekitar 150,8 juta balita di dunia mengalami stunting. Untuk menganalisis motivasi dan kinerja kader posyandu dalam pencegahan stunting di wilayah kerja puskesmas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan crosssectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling berjumlah 68 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi square. Tempat penelitian di Puskesmas Kedawung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 68 responden sebagian besar memiliki motivasi tinggi sebanyak 44 orang dengan prensentasi 64.7%. Dan kinerja kader sebagian besar menunjukka kinerja yang baik sebanyak 40 orang dengan presentasi 58.8%. Hasil uji chi square didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan Ho ditolak, maka hal ini berarti ada Hubungan Motivasi dengan Kinerja Kader Posyandu dalam Program Pencegahan Stunting di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kedawung Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Kinerja, Kader, Stunting
