Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan perpustakaan di Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur.  Dalam kegiatan pelayanan, bahasa merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting untuk menunjang kegiatan.  Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi yang digunakan oleh masyarakat luas dengan lafal hingga intonasi ucapan manusia.  Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu 1) untuk mengetahui penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur dan 2) untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur yaitu 96,3% responden menggunakan bahasa Indonesia serta 3,7% responden menggunakan bahasa jawa dan campuran dari bahasa Jawa dan bahasa Indonesia. Berikutnya, 2) penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur diketahui efektif karena 96,3% responden atau pengunjung perpustakaan Universitas pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur mayoritas memahami penggunaan bahasa Indonesia. Sehingga Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengembangan perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur khususnya dalam permasalahan bahasa.

Abstract

The planning of building and environmental management policies for the Sarangan Tourism Area was carried out through the RTBL program, which provides a guideline for organizing areas that do not yet comply with regulations. This study examined how the Dinas Perumahan Rakyat, Kawasan Permukiman, and dan Cipta Karya Provinsi Jawa Timur planned the RTBL policy using a descriptive qualitative approach based on Handoko’s (2003) planning theory. The results showed that the planning process was well-executed, with clear and measurable goals focused on reorganizing the area’s buildings and environment to support sustainable development. Strategies were carefully designed using SWOT analysis to ensure the policies were effective and aligned with the area’s needs while adhering to national and regional regulations, such as PERMEN-PUPR No. 06/PRT/M/2007. Projects and programs were implemented on schedule and followed proper procedures, using a combination of a top-down approach and limited bottom-up input. Funding was allocated through supervision and development planning forums, ensuring the program met all required standards.

Abstract

Mojo Subdistrict in Surabaya is one of the areas with great potential for the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the culinary, handicraft, and household product sectors. However, MSME actors still face several challenges such as limited knowledge of digital marketing, unrepresentative business locations, unattractive packaging designs, and suboptimal branding and social media management. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of MSME actors through training in product design and digital marketing, using methods such as material presentation, visual design creation, social media content development, and registration on e-commerce platforms. The results showed improvements in decision-making abilities, business management, and awareness of the importance of brand identity and product legality. Moreover, positive developments were observed in active participation and collaboration among MSMEs, although collective cohesion still requires improvement. Overall, this program had a tangible impact on strengthening the independence and competitiveness of local MSMEs in a more professional and sustainable manner.
