Abstract

Abstrak : Kemampuan berpikir spasial dapat membantu peserta didik dalam membuat keputusan dari hal yang sederhana sampai dengan hal yang kompleks. Pemilihan model pembelajaran oleh guru berperan penting terhadap peningkatan kemampuan  berpikir spasial peserta didik. Penelitian yang membahas model pembelajaran untuk peningkatan kemampuan berpikir spasial telah banyak dilakukan. Akan tetapi, sintesis penelitian-penelitian tersebut belum banyak dilakukan. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah mensintesis artikel penelitian tentang model pembelajaran untuk diketahui keefektifan model tersebut dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir spasial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melalui langkah-langkah literature review meta analisis. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 86 artikel, tetapi setelah disesuaikan dengan kriteria inklusi, jumlah artikel yang dijadikan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 13 artikel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistika deskriptif berupa perhitungan selisih nilai mean post test kelas eksperimen dengan nilai mean post test kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir spasial adalah model pembelajaran berbasis proyek berbantuan Google Earth dengan selisih sebesar 22 (nilai mean post tes kelas eksperimen 83, sedangkan nilai mean post tes kelas kontrol 61).Abstract:  Spatial thinking skills can help students make decisions from simple things to complex things. The choice of learning model by the teacher plays an important role in increasing students' spatial thinking skills. Research that discusses learning models to improve spatial thinking skills has been carried out a lot. However, the synthesis of these studies has not been widely carried out. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to synthesize research articles on learning models to determine the effectiveness of these models in improving spatial thinking skills. This study used a quantitative descriptive method by means of a literature review meta-analysis. The total population was 86 articles, but after adjusting for inclusion criteria, the number of articles used as samples in this study were 13 articles. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical techniques in the form of calculating the difference between the average post-test scores of the experimental class and the average post-test scores of the control class. The results showed that the most effective learning model for improving spatial thinking skills was a project-based learning model assisted by Google Earth with a difference of 22 (the mean post-test for the experimental class was 83, while the mean post-test for the control class was 61).

Abstract

The curriculum will always change and be updated from time to time, this happens because of the development of technology, communication, culture, and science which also updates the needs of individuals and society. However, this curriculum update will not be useful if the school cannot or fails to implement it, therefore the role of educators and education personnel is very important, especially the role of the principal who is the leader of a school itself. This study aims to raise the focus of the Importance of Principal Leadership in Implementing the New Curriculum to then become a source of information for all parties, especially those interested and in the field of education, especially candidates and principals. The method used in this research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, data obtained from books, journals and other reading materials relevant to this research. After the data is obtained, the data is analyzed by filtering the data according to its type after which the analysis is carried out to obtain conclusions according to what it is. The results of this study indicate that through visionary, strategic leadership, and paying attention to the needs of all stakeholders, principals can lead schools to success in adopting and implementing curriculum changes that can improve the quality of education and student learning outcomes, otherwise if the principal's leadership is poor, it will result in chaos in the implementation of the curriculum which is reflected through the learning process carried out by teachers.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that faces a high threat of natural disasters. The resulting losses are significant. Therefore, systematic steps are needed to analyze and reduce the factors causing disasters. Efforts to reduce disaster risks include integrating disaster mitigation education into multiple subjects and at every level of education. So far, disaster education has only been partially implemented, with only science, social studies, and geography lessons incorporating disaster content. Other subjects have not yet integrated disaster into their curriculum. This article aims to explain the integration of disaster mitigation education in schools to cultivate a generation of citizens who are aware and capable of adapting to disasters in their surroundings. The research method employed in this study is a literature review using the Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome (PICO) technique. The search and selection procedures for articles in this study utilize the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews & Meta-analyses (PRISMA) framework. The study involves an analysis of relevant sources related to the integration of disaster education. Integrating disaster mitigation education into various subjects will foster a culture of disaster preparedness, thereby minimizing the risks posed by disasters. When students are equipped to face disasters, they can develop resilience towards the disasters they encounter.
