Abstract

Cognitive development is the basis for a child's ability to think, be creative. The ability to think of children can be seen when children can solve simple problems that, recognize colors, recognize various objects and shapes. However, many young children still cannot recognize various kinds of objects around them, recognize colors, and recognize shapes. Puzzle media is a game that compiles a picture or object that has been broken into intact image form. The dismantling of the game, makes children think so that their (cognitive) knowledge develops. Children will use their thinking power to find puzzle media pieces and arrange them into an image a form complete. Through a puzzle media based on Tri Hita Karana, it is used as of planting Hindu religious teachings be taught from an early age. Tri Hita Karana is the three causes of happiness that teach humans to build a harmonious relationship with God, fellow humans and their environment. The problems that will be discussed include : (1) How is the process of implementing learning in improving early childhood cognitive abilities through the Tri Hita Karana-based puzzle media at TK Pra Widya Dharma Belancan? (2) What are the obstacles a teacher in improving early childhood cognitive abilities through the Tri Hita Karana-based puzzle media at TK Pra Widya Dharma Belancan? (3) What are the efforts made by the teacher to overcome problems in improving early childhood cognitive abilities through the Tri Hita Karana-based puzzle media at TK Pra Widya Dharma Belancan?. The theories used to analyze the formulation of the problem are Jhon Watson's theory of behaviorism, Piaget's cognitive theory, and Lev Vygotsky's theory of constructivism. The subjects in this study were teachers, school principals, and children who attend TK Pra Widya Dharma Belancan. Methods of data collection through non-participant observation, structured interviews, document study and literature study. The collected data were analyzed by using the qualitative descriptive analysis method with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed (1) The process of implementing the Tri Hita Karana based puzzle media in improving children's cognitive abilities is divided into two stages, namely the planning stage and the implementation stage, (2) the constraints faced by the teacher during the application process of the Tri Hita Karana based puzzle media in improving children's cognitive abilities are divided into two factors, namely internal factors and external factors, (3) the efforts made by the teacher in overcoming the obstacles of implementing Tri Hita Karana based puzzle media in improving children's cognitive abilities, namely by improving the quality of learning including making attractive media, create their puzzle media, and motivate children to learn by giving gifts and praise. Abstract

Early childhood education is the first and foremost education so learning must also be considered because the most rapid stage of development is at an early age. Education at an early age is certainly different from education at other levels, so learning must be done as interesting as possible. Interesting learning will foster your interest in learning. Learning at an early age is done through play activities. Children as blank papers must of course be given learning with the help of the media. One of the media that can be used during this pandemic is freelance media. Loose part media is learning that invites children to work with a variety of materials that are around the child. The theories used to analyze the problem are Montessori learning theory, constructivism theory and behaviorism theory. This study uses a qualitative research type. The research subjects used were classroom teachers, students and parents at Shanti Kumara Kindergarten Denpasar. Data collection methods are non-participant observation, structured interviews, document studies and literature studies. Data analysis methods used are data reduction, data classification and data presentation. The results showed that the learning process in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out at Shanti Kumara Kindergarten Denpasar which was carried out through three stages consisting of the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. Learning through playing during a pandemic with the media also encountered obstacles such as the lack of understanding of parents using zoom, economic difficulties in the midst of a busy parental pandemic, and changes in children's moods. The solution to overcome these obstacles is to socialize about the zoom application, visit children's homes, evaluate with parents and conduct interesting and changing learning.

Abstract

Developing Hindu-based Early Childhood Discipline can be done by using the habituation method. Through habituation activities, the child will get used to discipline. The discipline of children is taught about behaving in ways that are consistent with the standards of their social groups. With the inculcation of discipline from an early age, especially based on Hinduism, will certainly have a great influence on the child, a child will become accustomed to and consider that it must be done. The issues to be discussed include (1) application in developing Early Childhood discipline through Hindu-based habituation methods in TK Dharma Kumara IV Buduk (2) obstacles encountered in developing Early Childhood discipline through Hindu-based habituation methods in TK Dharma Kumara IV Buduk (3) supporting factors in developing Early Childhood discipline through Hindu-based habituation methods at Kindergarten Dharma Kumara IV Buduk. This study aims to (1) Know how to apply in developing the discipline of Early Childhood through Hindu-based habituation methods in Kindergarten Dharma Kumara IV Buduk (2) find out the obstacles faced in developing Early Childhood discipline through Hindu-based habituation methods in Kindergarten Dharma Kumara IV Buduk (3) knows the supporting factors in developing Early Childhood discipline through Hindu-based habituation methods at TK Dharma Kumara IV Buduk.

Abstract

Character building in early childhood can be done in various ways, one of which is through storytelling. Storytelling activities using illustrated storybook media such as this have long been used by teachers in Paramawangsa Kindergarten and have shown results that are visible from children who have empathy are left to behave politely and one of the values of character education that has been successfully cultivated by children -children are social care values. The formulation of the problem that will be discussed among others (1) How is the process of Character Formation of Early Childhood Through Activity Storytelling with Media Book Picture Story in TK Paramawangsa Denpasar Utara? (2) What are the constraints faced by the teacher when the Early Childhood Character Formation Activity Through Storytelling with Media Books Picture Stories at Paramawangsa Kindergarten North Denpasar? (3) What are the advantages of Character Formation of Early Childhood Through Activity Storytelling with Media Book Picture Story in TK Paramawangsa Denpasar Utara? The formation of character through storytelling activities is very very suitable to be applied to early childhood so that children are more easily understand the contents of the fairy tale.
