Abstract

The research with the title "Characteristics of Tourists Visiting Setu Babakan" was chosen to understand more deeply the characteristics of tourists visiting a tourist destination. The success and sustainability of a destination is highly dependent on a deep understanding of geography, demography, psychography and tourist behavior. The research location is Setu Babakan, Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The urgency of this research is to improve the tourist experience and optimize the utilization of Setu Babakan's resources. By analyzing tourist characteristics, Setu Babakan can plan development strategies more effectively and can increase the number of visits. The data collection method is by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who have been determined by the slovin formula, interviews with informants who are purposely selected, and literature from previous studies. This type of research data is quantitative and the approach used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that most Setu Babakan tourists came from within the city, dominated by Gen Z and Millennial age groups with preferences for cultural tourism activities. Setu Babakan tourists are relatively middle economic level, intend to visit again, and are willing to recommend this destination to friends and family. Setu Babakan needs to improve facilities in accordance with tourist expectations.

Abstract

This study analyzes the content and sentiment of Jakarta Textile Museum's social media. to analyze the effectiveness of social media content and identify audience perception of Jakarta textile Museum's social media content. The method used is qualitative, data collection is carried out through observation of the textile Museum's social media activities, as well as related literature studies. The study aims to identify effective social media strategies, analyzes the challenges faced and provide recommendations to support increasing the number visits. The result of study from the analyzes of the content and sentiment of Jakarta textile Museum's social media promotion show that although there have been positive, there is still room for development in terms of audience interaction and engagement

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of green practices in Casa Amaroossa Lounge Jakarta as a step to support sustainable tourism in urban areas, and analyzes the application of POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) managerial approaches to manage and improve the effectiveness of implementing green practices in hotel environments. This study uses a qualitative method with the aim of understanding the application of green practices in Casa Amaroossa Lounge Jakarta through observations, interviews, and supporting documentation. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive model with a POAC managerial approach to evaluate the effectiveness of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring in the implementation of sustainable practices in the hotel environment. The results of the study show that the implementation of green practices is carried out through energy and water efficiency, the use of environmentally friendly materials, grouped waste management, the provision of food based on local and organic ingredients, and donation activities that support the welfare of the surrounding community. With POAC management, this activity is carried out systematically and in a directed manner. Green practices are very important to be applied to urban hotels, because they play a role in reducing the negative impact of operational activities on the environment, improving the positive image of hotels, and supporting sustainable tourism in urban areas that have quite high environmental pressure
