Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using different poultry manure as a medium for its culture. The method used in this study is an experimental design using a random design with four treatments and three replications. The factors tested were the addition of different poultry manure such as without the addition of poultry manure (P0), the addition of free-range chicken manure (P1), the addition of laying hen manure (P2), and the addition of quail manure (P3). The results of ANOVA analysis using SPSS 20.0 showed that the addition of different poultry manure had a significant effect on the absolute biomass of tubifex worms. Duncan test results showed that the absolute biomass of tubifex worms in the P3 treatment (addition of quail manure) was significantly different from the other treatments. In addition, the media added with quail manure produced the highest absolute biomass (243,33 gram) compared to other treatments.

Abstract

Penelusuran penggunaan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction dalam mempelajari Informasi dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penelusuran dan penerapan teori-teori baru penggunaan model (Explicit Instruction EI) dalam mempelajari informasi dapat meningkatkan prestasi siswa kelas VIII-3 MTsN 4 Bireuen . Subjek penelitian ini adalah Siswa-siswi kelas VIII-3 MTsN 4 Bireuen berjumlah 25 orang siswa terdiri dari 12 laki-laki 13 orang perempuan. Prosedur penelitian adalah melakukan kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Siklus I pertemuan ke 1 nilai rata-rata kelas untuk 25 orang siswa adalah aspek kognitif 6,64 dan aspek psikomotor 6,48 dan pada aspek afektif C untuk nilai tuntas secara klasikal yang diperoleh hanya 28 %. Pertemuan ke 2 nilai rata-rata kelas untuk 25 orang siswa dapat diinterpretasikan dalam 3 aspek, aspek kognitif 6,96 dan psikomotor 6,8 dan nilai pada aspek afektif C secara klasikal yang diperoleh hanya 44%. Siklus II pertemuan ke 1 nilai rata-rata kelas untuk 25 orang siswa adalah aspek kognitif 7,36 dan aspek psikomotor 7, 12 dan aspek afektif B nilai tuntas secara klasikal yang diperoleh 64 %. Pertemuan ke 2 nilai rata-rata kelas untuk 25 orang siswa nilai tuntas secara klasikal yang diperoleh 76 %. Nilai rata-rata aspek kognitif 7, 6 , aspek psikomotor 7, 28 dan nilai pada aspek afektif B.
