Abstract

This research is motivated by the teacher's difficulties in learning mathematics. The lack of teacher ability in designing and implementing learning models is an obstacle to children's success in the process of learning mathematics. The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of students in grade VI Elementary School by using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by zoom meetings. The research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) of two cycles which previously carried out the pre-cycle stage of action, each cycle consisting of 4 stages: planning, implementing, observing, reflecting. The results obtained from the implementation of the research showed an increase, namely the average value of the test in the first action was 84 and the average value of the second action test was 94 while in the pre-cycle stage the average value was 72. These results indicate that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve student learning outcomes, especially the Class VI Mathematics at SDN 9 Boyolali.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan grup perusahaan multinasional yang bergerak bidang minuman (kuliner). Produk minuman yang diproduksi oleh perusahan ini adalah beragam jenis olahan Kopi. Permasa-lahan yang dihadapi oleh PT. XYZ adalah pada jenis produk Kopi Tarik pada bulan Oktober 2019 hingga Desember 2019 mengalami stagnan penjualan atau dapat dikatakan tidak ada peningkatan penjualan sehingga dibutuhkan strategi promosi untuk menghadapi persaingan bisnis terutama pada bisnis kopi. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan metode SWOT dan BCG (Boston Consulting Group). Untuk metode SWOT, nantinya dapat menghasilkan strategi yang terbaik dengan mempertimbangkan faktor internal dan faktor eksternal pada produk kopi tarik. Selanjut-nya, pada metode BCG (Boston Consulting Group) diharapakan dapat mengetahui posisi perus-ahaan dengan mempertimbangkan pertumbuhan pasar dan pangsa pasar. Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil grafik SWOT menempati kuadran 1 yang mengartikan bahwa posisi ini membuktikan dengan rekomendasi taktik “progresif”sebuah organisasi yang kuat dan berpeluang. Untuk metode BCG didapatkan hasil bahwa posisi perusahaan berada di kuadran tanda tanya (question mark) dimana pada kondisi perusahaan menghadapi pangsa pasar rendah sedangkan kondisi pertumbuhan tinggi. Maka, perusahaan dapat mengambil langkah prioritas dengan pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan peningkatan promosi, meningkatkan kualitas, meningkat-kan varian produk kopi tarik, dan memberikan pelayanan lebih kepada konsumen

Abstract

Humans cannot be separated from daily communication in order to achieve effective interaction with others. Effective communication occurs when individuals understand and share common goals. Good communication between parents and children has a positive impact on family life; however, not all families experience effective communication, particularly families with children who have intellectual disabilities. This condition can hinder effective communication between parents and children. Therefore, this study aimed to describe effective communication between parents and children with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri Brebes, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing such communication. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects consisted of four families, each with parents who had children with mild intellectual disabilities. Data were collected primarily through interviews and supported by observations. The results showed that communication between parents and their children in all four families was effective, particularly in habituating worship activities, which was supported by the use of audiovisual media. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors of effective communication included children’s slow cognitive processing and emotional instability resulting from intellectual disabilities.
