Abstract

This research aims to explore the process and impact of implementing the internalization of Islamic Religious Education values through character education at SDN I Sukoharjo, Bandung Sub-District, Tulungagung District. The character education program at the school is conducted through religious habituation practices such as performing the Duha prayer, memorizing short verses of the Quran and reciting tahlil, commemorating Islamic holidays, Friday charity contributions, and others. It is emphasized that achieving the goals of internalizing Islamic Religious Education values greatly depends on simultaneously conducting religious activities. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consist of the school principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and students of SDN I Sukoharjo. The research findings indicate that the process of internalizing these values progresses well through three stages: transformation of values, transaction of values, and internalization of values. The impact of this internalization is reflected in increased worship awareness, changes in attitudes and behaviors, as well as improved understanding and knowledge of religion among students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance of the Merdeka Curriculum in the teaching and learning activities at MA Darul Falah Sumbergempol, drawing upon the perspective of ta'lim mutaalim. The Merdeka Curriculum, as the latest innovation in the Indonesian education system, is designed to encourage students to be more proactive and independent in the learning process. The research also investigates the alignment between formal and non-formal education implemented by MA Darul Falah Sumbergempol, with the principles of learning inherent in the Merdeka Curriculum and ta'lim mutaalim. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, involving data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis. The findings indicate a strong correlation between the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the learning concepts in ta'lim mutaalim. These findings include the enthusiasm for seeking knowledge, increased creativity, promotion of tolerance, fostering a sense of community, respectful behavior of students towards teachers, and the development of student autonomy in the learning process. Thus, this study asserts that the Merdeka Curriculum is not in conflict with the learning principles found in the ta'lim mutaalim. Instead, the Merdeka Curriculum can serve as an effective complement to strengthen existing learning concepts, and provide a more solid foundation for inclusive, value-based education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive digital media in increasing interest in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in secondary schools. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 120 grade XI students from MAN 1 Gresik and MAN 2 Gresik, East Java. The sample was divided into an experimental group (60 students) who used interactive digital media and a control group (60 students) who used conventional methods. The research instrument was a learning interest questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity (r > 0.361) and reliability (α = 0.892). The results showed that there was a significant difference between students' learning interest in the experimental and control groups (t = 8.457; p < 0.001). The experimental group had an average learning interest score of 74.3 (very high category) compared to the control group of 58.2 (high category). The increase in learning interest in the experimental group reached 27.8% from pretest to posttest. Interactive digital media has been proven effective in increasing students' attention, interest, motivation, and active participation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of innovative and adaptive PAI learning models in the digital era.
