Abstract

Social Science Learning (IPS) has an important role in the formation of the character of elementary / MI children. This article aims to explore how social studies learning can contribute to the character development of elementary / MI children. The research method used is a literature study collect information related to the theme. The results showed that social studies learning can help students understand moral, social, and cultural values ​​that are important for the formation of their character. The The implication of this study is the importance of integrating social studies learning into the curriculum to support the character-building of elementary / MI children.
