Abstract

Student learning achievement is a crucial element in the education sector, shaped by a variety of internal and external factors. Accurately predicting student achievement remains a significant challenge for educators and researchers, especially considering the psychological impacts of bullying. This study aims to construct a predictive model using linear regression to examine the influence of bullying levels, social support, and mental health on student achievement at SMPN 4 Pasarkemis, Tangerang Regency. A review of previous studies highlights the psychological toll bullying can have on academic performance, with many focusing on predictive models or statistical methods like linear regression to quantify these impacts. The model was developed using Python on the Google Colab platform, utilizing the pandas, statsmodels, and seaborn libraries for statistical analysis and visualization of variable relationships. Employing a quantitative, associative research design, the study involved 533 student respondents. The findings reveal that social support has the strongest positive influence on academic achievement, while higher levels of bullying and poorer mental health correlate with decreased performance. Notably, among the various forms of bullying analyzed, cyberbullying emerged as having the most significant negative impact on academic achievement. Although the model explains approximately 5.5 percent of the variation in student learning achievement, the majority of influencing factors lie beyond the scope of this analysis. The model offers potential for further development into a web-based predictive information system to assist educators in the early identification of students at academic risk.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of body language in business negotiations, with an emphasis on analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of using body language as a non-verbal communication tool. The research was conducted through a literature review method, which involved collecting data from various relevant journal articles, books and other publications on the subject. The results show that body language consistently plays a vital role in supporting the effectiveness of business negotiations, where non-verbal cues such as eye contact, gestures, and facial expressions can reinforce verbal messages and foster trusting relationships. However, the study also revealed that cultural differences and potential misunderstandings can be a drawback in the application of body language, often leading to conflict and inaccurate perceptions of prosperity. The recommendations from this study conclude that training and awareness on multi- cultural body language is an important aspect that needs to be integrated in business negotiation practices in order to maximize the strengths and mitigate the weaknesses of body language.

Abstract

The transformation of organisational communication driven by the adoption of digital technologies is bringing about major changes in the way employees interact, collaborate and work. Digital technologies such as email, video conferencing, and collaboration platforms enable greater efficiency, rapid response to change, and opportunities for innovation. Data analytics enable decision-making that is better informed by accurate information, improve communication strategies, and increase employee engagement and satisfaction. However, the adoption of digital technologies in organisational communications also presents challenges. Information overload can lead to information overload, lowering productivity and reducing the quality of communication between individuals. In addition, cybersecurity risks are increasing, requiring special attention to data and information protection. The shift to digital communication also has the potential to reduce face-to-face interactions, which can change the dynamics of interpersonal relationships in the workplace. To take full advantage of the positive impact of this transformation, organisations should develop comprehensive management strategies, provide ongoing training, and enhance digital security measures
