Abstract

Inclusive education is an approach to the education system that aims to bring students with special nee ds and other students together in the same learning environment. It advocates for modifications in curriculum, teaching methods and school facilities to meet the diverse needs of all students. In essence, inclusive education seeks to create equal learning opportunities for every student, respecting differences and integrating support that enables each individual to reach their potential. The study conducted in this research used the literature research method. The results show that schools that successfully implement inclusive programs tend to have strong governance, support continuous professional development for teachers and involve active collaboration between school, home and community. The findings also confirm that effective implementation of inclusive education not only helps students with special needs but also reinforces the values of inclusiveness within the school community thus fostering a more harmonious and productive learning environment.

Abstract

This study examines short video content as the dominant format driving audience engagement on three major social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Using a literature review method, this study analyses the technical characteristics and content formats of each platform, as well as the factors influencing user engagement levels. The findings reveal that while all three platforms share the core concept of vertical short videos, they each possess unique characteristics in terms of duration, editing features, distribution algorithms, and audience profiles that influence interaction patterns. TikTok is known for its high virality and strong content personalisation, Instagram Reels relies on visual aesthetics and social interaction, while YouTube Shorts combines short and long-form content to reach a broader audience. Factors such as visual quality, content relevance, popular music, and interactivity have proven significant in increasing audience engagement. This study provides a comprehensive understanding that is beneficial for content creators, digital marketers, and social media researchers in optimising digital communication strategies based on short videos.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the integration of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum and digital technology in developing students' self-potential as an effort to prepare a generation that is responsive to Society 5.0. Through a literature review method, this study examines various scientific references and educational policies related to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, the use of digital technology in learning, and the concept of Society 5.0. The results of the study indicate that the integration of both is capable of creating a more flexible, contextual, and learner-centred learning ecosystem. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which is project-based and differentiated, supported by digital technology, promotes the strengthening of 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and digital literacy. However, several challenges remain, including technological access gaps, educator readiness, and the need for continuous training. Therefore, multi-stakeholder collaboration is essential to optimise the development of students' potential. This integration represents a strategic step in shaping a generation that is not only academically excellent but also adaptive, resilient, and prepared to tackle the complex challenges of the global Society 5.0 era.
