Abstract

The improvement of educational services requires schools to maintain the quality of services provided through teachers and education staff, particularly in responding to the changing needs of industry and the world of work (IDUKA). This research was carried out to find out the implementation of TQM in schools, including educational services through teachers and education personnel, monitoring and evaluation of TQM, and the school's efforts in maintaining the quality of educational services. This study uses a qualitative research approach to understand and describe in depth TQM in improving educational services through teachers and education personnel. The results show that State Vocational High School 1 Dlanggu focuses on customers, involves the entire academic community and IDUKA, makes continuous improvements, and builds a joint commitment. Monitoring is carried out by the principal with assistance from the representative of quality management, while evaluation focuses on key performance indicators, vision, mission, and school goals. The school maintains service quality by meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders, improving the competitiveness and quality of graduates, partnering with industry and the world of work, and building a good culture. These findings imply the importance of maintaining credible educational services and continuously improving the expertise competencies of teachers and education staff.
