Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategy of the South Sumatra Provincial Education Office in implementing the Driving Teacher Program, an initiative from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia which aims to create teachers who are competitive, innovative, and capable of being a driving force in improving the quality of education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the South Sumatra Provincial Education Office implemented several key strategies, including intensive training, continuous monitoring and evaluation, as well as providing financial and non-financial support to the teachers involved. Apart from that, collaboration with various parties, such as higher education institutions and the local education community, is also an important factor in supporting the success of this program. The obstacles faced include limited budget and human resources, as well as barriers to technological adaptation. This study concludes that the strategy implemented by the Education Department has shown positive results in implementing the Teacher Mobilization Program in South Sumatra, however, efforts are still needed to improve implementation efficiency and strengthening coordination between stakeholders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in improving the quality of learning at State Elementary School (SDN) 1 Catur Tunggal, Mesuji Makmur District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The Independent Curriculum, which has been implemented nationally since 2022, provides flexibility for teachers in designing learning strategies that suit the needs of students. Although it provides many opportunities to improve the quality of education, its implementation faces various challenges, such as difficulties in the use of technology by teachers and adjustments to the digital platform used for curriculum administration. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that although there has been progress in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, intensive training and technological support are needed so that its implementation can be optimal. With the right assistance, the Independent Curriculum is expected to be able to improve the quality of learning at SDN 1 Catur Tunggal and other schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe Library Innovation Management in Increasing Reading Interest at Xaverius Santo Louis Junior High School, Muara Padang. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that Library Management Innovation in Increasing Reading Interest at Xaverius Santo Louis Junior High School, Muara Padang includes planning goals, visions and missions in the form of promotions to students so that they are interested in visiting the library, in addition to planning the focus of management innovation seen from the readiness of the library in implementing in increasing student interest in visiting the library, one form of change can be seen from the infrastructure that has begun to be added and improved such as the procurement of fans, procurement of reference books, improvement of room lighting by adding lights to make it clear for students to read books in the room, the arrangement of the room layout is made more attractive, the arrangement of tables must be neat so that students are interested in reading in the library at Xaverius Santo Louis Junior High School, Muara Padang

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the effect of the implementation of the school vision and mission on educational quality; (2) the effect of teachers‟ work ethic on educational quality; and (3) the simultaneous effect of the implementation of the school vision and mission and teachers‟ work ethic on educational quality in public junior high schools in Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The study was conducted in public junior high schools in Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, from July to October 2025. The population of this study consisted of principals and teachers, with samples selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, t-test, and F- test. The results showed that the implementation of the school vision and mission had a significant effect on educational quality, with a t-value of 7.887 greater than the t-table value of 1.662 and a coefficient of determination of 0.526 or 52.6%. Teachers‟ work ethic also had a significant effect on educational quality, with a t- value of 2.522 greater than or equal to the t-table value of 1.662 and an R Square value of 0.231 or 23.1%. Simultaneously, the implementation of the school vision and mission and teachers‟ work ethic had a significant effect on educational quality, with an F-value of 52.842 greater than the F-table value of 3.10 and a contribution of 56%, while the remaining 44% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
