Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the leadership of the school principal and school committee on the performance of the teachers of the State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District, by using quantitative methods with this type of correlational research. The research population consisted of 107 teachers at the State Junior High School in Muaradua District. The research sample was 48 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, namely sampling by determining certain criteria. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis techniques and multiple regression. The results showed that: (1) The leadership of the principal has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of the State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District; (2) The school committee has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District; and (3) The leadership of the principal and the school committee jointly have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of the State Junior High Schools in Muaradua District.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of supervision of principals and teacher professional allowances on the professional competence of teachers in Simpang District Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study is 38 elementary school teachers in the Simpang sub-district who have received teacher professional benefits. This research uses quantitative research, with a type of Non-Probability sampling research, the technique used is the saturated Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using closed questionnaires. Data analysis with t-test and F test showed that: Supervision of the principal has an influence on the professional competence of teachers in Simpang sub-district by 20.90%; Teacher professional allowance has an influence on the professional competence of teachers in Simpang subdistrict by 20.50%, and supervision of principals and teacher professional allowances have a simultaneous influence of 45.90% on the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Simpang District Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by conditions among teachers. frequently use social media. The research objective was to determine the effect of using social media and school culture on student learning outcomes at Junior High School 01 Kisam Ilir, Muaradua Kisam District. This research uses quantitative methods. The population is 172 people and the research sample is 90 respondents. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation of student learning outcomes which are then tested using the SPSS version 2.5 program. Hypothesis testing at the 5% significance level using the t-test, the conclusion of this study H1 is rejected, this shows that there is no influence between variable X1 on variable Y. For H2 is accepted, it shows that there is an influence between variable X2 and variable Y by 97%. To test the effect of variables X1 and X2 on Y simultaneously, the F test is used which results in H3 are rejected. The implication of this research is to cultivate social media in the school environment to support learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of principal leadership and work motivation on teaching quality of teachers in  Ogan Komering Ulu Timur  (OKUT) vocational school. The formulation of the problem in this study: (1) is there an influence of the principal leadership on the quality of teacher teaching?, (2) is there an influence of teacher work motivation on teaching quality?, (3) is there an influence between principal leadership and work motivation on teaching quality of teacher in OKUT vocational school. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method to see the effect partially between the existing variables. The results of this study obtained respondents' perceptions of the principal leadership obtained a score range of 116-150 and an average score of 130.79. Respondents' perceptions of performance motivation on teaching quality of teacher were obtained scores of 107-151 with a total score of 20191.00 and an average score of 134.43. The degree of influence of the principal leadership variable (X1) and the work motivation variable (X2) on teacher's teaching quality (Y) was 0.73 or 73%. Shows that teaching quality of teacher (Y) is jointly (simultaneously) influenced by the principal leadership variable (X1) and work motivation variable (X2) by 73% while the remaining 27% is influenced by other factors outside the equation model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance. The formulation of the problems in this study: (1) is there a correlation between work motivation and teacher performance?, (2) is there a correlation between work discipline and teacher performance?, (3) is there a correlation between work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study amounted to 74 students. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and documentation. The instrument used was a test sheet. The theories used are teaching and learning strategy theory and learning evaluation theory. The results of this study. Based on the respondents' perceptions of work motivation, a score range of 116-150 was obtained, with a total score of 20409 and an average score of 130.79 which in this case was categorized as quite good. Respondents' perceptions about the effect of work discipline on teacher performance obtained a score range of 107 - 151, with a total score of 20191.00 and an average score of 134.43 which is in the good category. The degree of influence of the work motivation variable (X1) and the work discipline variable (X2) on teacher performance (Y) was 0.73 or 73%. This shows that the teacher's performance (Y) is jointly (simultaneously) influenced by the work motivation variable (X1) and the work discipline variable (X2) by 73% while the remaining 27% is influenced by other factors outside the equation model.

Abstract

The effect of creativity and work motivation on the productivity of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers. This study aims to determine the effect of creativity and work motivation on the productivity of IRE teachers in Lengkiti district at Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) district. As for the formulation of the problem, (1) is there an effect of creativity on the productivity of IRE elementary school teachers?, (2) is there an effect of motivation on the productivity of IRE elementary school teachers?, and (3) is there an effect of creativity and motivation on the productivity of IRE elementary school teachers?. This type of research is descriptive. The sample in this study amounted to 19 people in 19 SD Negeri in OKU District. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study. Based on respondents' perceptions about the effect of creativity on teacher productivity in a moderate category, the mean was 69.43. The results of the descriptive analysis of the effect of IRE motivation on teacher productivity are in a good category, the mean is 58.68. The results of the analysis of the effect of creativity and work motivation on teacher productivity are in moderate category with a mean of 49.59.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of human resource development management to increase quality at SD Negeri 90 Ogan Komering Hulu (OKU). This research is a qualitative research with  qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained were collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the human resource development steps carried out at SD Negeri 90 OKU were carried out in 7 steps, namely compiling programs, determining needs, determining targets, determining programs, identifying learning principles, program implementation and evaluation of program implementation. Human resource management at SD Negeri 90 OKU, both in terms of quality improvement, implementation, supporting factors and the quality of education have been running optimally.

Abstract

Minimnya pengawas / supervisor untuk bimbingan konseling yang berasal dari keilmuan bimbingan dan konseling menyebabkan supervisi hanya berfokus kepada kegiatan administrasi, pengawasan, dan manajerial. Idealnya supervisi dapat menjadi media dalam pengembangan kinerja guru bimbingan dan konseling. Supervisi sebaya melalui MGBK diprediksi dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode one group pretest-post test, terhadap 36 orang anggota MGBK SMA Kota Palembang yang dipilih secara random, dari total anggota sejumlah 137 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kinerja guru BK setelah mengikuti kegiatan supervisi sebaya melalui MGBK . Namun jika melihat hasil analisis N-Gain peningkatan yang terjadi pada kinerja Guru BK setelah mengikuti kegitan MGBK termasuk pada kategori sedang

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of significantly leadership principal, school climate and commitment achievement motivation to teachers at SMK Sub Rayon 04 in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur regency of South Sumatra province either partially or simultaneously. This study was a quantitative descriptive research, the population in this study are all public school teachers in the SMK Sub Rayon 04 in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur regency of South Sumatra province 330 teacher, with a sample of 101 teachers. Data was collected by questionnaire. Analysis of data using path analysis (path analysis) and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicated that Leadership Principal significantly influence teachers' commitment, school climate significant effect on teacher commitment, achievement motivation significant effect on the school climate of teachers. Leadership principal, school climate, achievement motivation jointly significant effect on commitment of teacher. Keywords: Motivation, commitment, leadership, climate. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap komitmen guru di SMK Sub Rayon 04 Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Provinsi Sumatera Selatan baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMK Sub Rayon 04 Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Provinsi Sumatera Selatan sebanyak 330 guru, dengan sampel 101 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru, iklim sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru, motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah, motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru. Kata Kunci: Iklim, kepemimpinan, komitmen, motivasi,
