In Indonesia, social media has become one of the most popular platforms among young people. However, the high use of social media is not balanced with awareness of the negative impacts it can have, one of which is hoaxes. Hoaxes, disinformation and misinformation are often discussed in the digital world and on media internet, and it can be said that the spread of hoaxes in Indonesia is influenced by low digital literacy. Many people are not yet fully aware of the impact of media on various life contexts. Responding to this phenomenon, a team from the Indonesian Wiyata Management Institute and Ma'soem University held community service regarding social media literacy training related to hoax prevention for high school students in Sukabumi Regency. The aim of this community service is to increase knowledge and awareness regarding the impact of social media, especially to provide awareness of the importance of social media. Abstract

This community service project aimed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business management at Hijab Syamil MSME through operational management and e-business training. A quantitative approach with pre-test and post-test design was employed to measure participants’ knowledge improvement. The training covered production SOP development, inventory management, digital financial recording, social media optimization, and e-commerce platform utilization. The results indicated a significant increase in operational management knowledge (70%), digital bookkeeping skills (77%), social media usage (70%), and e-commerce understanding (80%). The impact was evident in more organized production processes, a 60% increase in social media engagement, and the activation of online store sales. These findings demonstrate that operational management and e-business training can strengthen MSMEs’ competitiveness in the digital era and support business sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of celebrity endorsers, brand image, and brand trust on purchase intention for Wardah Shampoo products amidst intense competition in the toiletries industry between global and local brands. Wardah, as the market leader in halal cosmetics, seeks to increase its market share in the hair care category by collaborating with Dewi Sandra as the brand representative. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of high school and university female students in the study area, with a sample of 287 respondents selected using stratified random sampling techniques. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression with SPSS software. The results show that, both partially and simultaneously, celebrity endorser (Dewi Sandra), brand image, and brand trust have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. The primary finding indicates that brand trust is the most dominant variable influencing consumer purchase intention. This implies that for this consumer segment, confidence in halal assurance and product effectiveness is more crucial than merely the popularity of the celebrity endorser to overcome brand inertia.
