Abstract

The Human Resources (HR) management system used must be in accordance with the needs of the organization, so that the recruitment process is not just filling employee vacancies or just getting ordinary HR, but highly dedicated and professional HR in their fields. The purpose of writing is to examine and analyze further how the teaching staff recruitment system in improving the quality of education carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. The method of writing this scientific article uses a qualitative method. Data is obtained through observation, where the researcher functions as an instrument to make observations, in-depth interviews with primary data sources and study documentation. The results of the educator recruitment process at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung are: Recruitment implementation, The series of new educator recruitment activities at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung develops according to the needs of the school and always learns from the experience of recruiting previous educators. The school forms a team to recruit the required educators, then distributes e-flyers or announcements to attract applicants or educators through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, WhatsApp, and websites with Muslim or Muslimah qualifications, love the world of education, able to work with the team, minimum education S1 according to major

Abstract

Human resources are the most important asset in an organization/company, especially in an educational institution, so it is very important that existing human resources can be planned as well as possible, for the realization of organizational/institutional goals. The purpose of writing is to find and examine more deeply about human resource management in improving the quality of education at MTs Al Khairiyah Kaliawi Bandar Lampung. The method of writing this scientific article uses a qualitative method. Data is obtained through observation, where the researcher functions as an instrument to make observations, in-depth interviews with primary data sources and study documentation. The data were analyzed with interactive analysis through 3 activities, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are HR planning is designed and arranged systematically and based on school independence by taking into account the characteristics of the school, HR recruitment is carried out by prioritizing the principles of professionalism, selection is judged to have fulfilled professional elements, training conducted has had a positive impact and influence both for schools and personnel, work appraisal is carried out using two aspects, namely quantitative and qualitative aspects, compensation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the numeracy skills of SMPN 27 Bandar Lampung students who have low, medium, and high numeracy skills in number domain, algebra, and geometry. This research approach is qualitative with case study method. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung located at Jl. Raya Puri Gading, Sukamaju, Kec. Teluk Betung Timur, Bandar Lampung City. The primary source of this research is the principal and education personnel in the marketing department. While secondary sources in this study are books, documents, and scientific articles related to the research. Data collection techniques using observation interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation. And data analysis using Miles and Huberman analysis techniques, namely by codifying data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research prove that: students with low numeracy skills are generally able to use a variety of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics to solve problems in various contexts. Students with medium and high numeracy skills generally have numeracy skills, namely: (1) able to use various kinds of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics to solve problems in various contexts; (2) able to analyse information displayed in various forms; and (3) able to use interpretation of analysis results to make decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Management of the National Science Olympiad Programme and Madrasah Science Competition at MAN 1 Lampung Tengah, this research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research was conducted at MAN 1 Lampung Tengah in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data sources in the study used primary sources and secondary sources. Data collection techniques with unstructured observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and data validity assurance techniques using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the OSN programme coaching management and Madrasah Science Competition at MAN 1 Lampung Tengah was quite effective. Although MAN 1 Lampung Tengah has committed to increasing student participation and achievement in the OSN programme and Madrasah Science Competition, further efforts are still needed to overcome these obstacles. These recommendations are expected to help MAN 1 Lampung Tengah to continue supporting the development of students' potential in science through the OSN programme and Madrasah Science Competition.
