Abstract

Keberhasilan laktasi merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam mendukung pemberian Air Susu Ibu (ASI) secara optimal pada ibu postpartum. Rendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu mengenai teknik menyusui yang benar dapat memengaruhi keberhasilan laktasi. Salah satu media edukasi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ibu adalah video edukasi teknik menyusui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan video edukasi teknik menyusui sebagai media edukasi keberhasilan laktasi pada ibu postpartum. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 20 ibu postpartum dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan LATCH Assessment Tool, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor keberhasilan laktasi sebelum diberikan video edukasi teknik menyusui adalah 5,20, kemudian meningkat menjadi 8,20 setelah diberikan intervensi. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai p-value = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keberhasilan laktasi setelah pemberian video edukasi teknik menyusui. Video edukasi teknik menyusui dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media edukasi untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan laktasi pada ibu postpartum melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menerapkan teknik menyusui yang benar.

Abstract

  Triple Elimination screening is a public health program designed to prevent the transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B from pregnant women to their babies. According to data from the Gerunggang Community Health Center in Pangkal Pinang, the coverage rate for Triple Elimination screening among pregnant women decreased from 43.8% (2023) to 41.7% (2024), while the rate of reactive test results increased from 7% to 9%. This study aimed to determine the effect of education via animated video on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding triple elimination screening in the Gerunggang Community Health Center’s service area in 2026, using a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group, pretest-posttest design with 19 respondents in the intervention group and 19 in the control group. Univariate analysis results showed that before the education program, nearly all pregnant women (84.2%) in the intervention group had insufficient knowledge and the majority (63.2%) held negative attitudes, whereas after the education program, nearly all (89.5%) had good knowledge and nearly all (94.7%) held positive attitudes, while in the control group, the changes observed were relatively minor. The results of the Wilcoxon test in the intervention group showed p=0.001 for knowledge and p=0.001 for attitudes, while the Mann-Whitney posttest showed p=0.001 for knowledge and p=0.000 for attitudes, indicating significant differences between the two groups. It was concluded that education through animated videos has a significant impact on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women  therefore, it is recommended that the Gerunggang Community Health Center incorporate this medium as a routine health promotion strategy in its antenatal care (ANC) services.
