Abstract

This study aims to explore the community's view of the phenomenon of Sandwich Generation in the dimension of modernity. The increasing number of population in Indonesia also gives rise to a new phenomenon, namely the Sandwich Generation. The Sandwich Generation phenomenon has been introduced since the 90s, especially among women who work to maintain two generations simultaneously. Responding to this ongoing phenomenon by finding out how the public responds to sandwich generation by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google Forms to various groups of people to analyze the results of the community's responses to the current phenomenon. The results of the analysis show that there are still many misconceptions regarding this phenomenon, which is considered one of the forms of child exploitation. This happens because of a lack of knowledge about how a child is obliged to his parents, being the sandwich generation is not a disgrace but a good opportunity to be devoted to both parents and must live it sincerely so that what is obtained can be a blessing.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the role of cultural communities, especially the Celah-Celah Langit Community, in establishing social responsibility in society through the programs they promote. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, which will focus on processing data descriptively to provide an in-depth picture of the phenomenon being studied. The research techniques carried out included field studies through direct observation in the field and direct interviews with members of the Celah-Celah Langit Community. The research results show that the Celah-Celah Langit Community provides a space for expression for the surrounding community through their works of art. Many of these works are inspired by problems close to society, and not only from the themes, but also from the artistic aspects of the performances which are chosen to suit people's daily lives. In its creative process, this community involves the surrounding community, so that the community can be part of the works created and provide aspirations. Community participation in this community helps increase community awareness of current issues. This results in a sense of responsibility to play an active role in bringing about change in society. Thus, it can be concluded that cultural communities such as the Celah-Celah Langit Community play an important role in establishing social responsibility in society through the arts programs they promote.

Abstract

Teknologi kini tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam kehidupan masyarakat termasuk bidang pendidikan. Saat ini para murid dapat dikatakan tergantung pada teknologi dalam belajar mereka juga fasih menggunakan perangkat teknologi dan dengan ketergantungan ini mereka dikatakan sebagai generasi digital atau generasi internet. Generasi Z terkenal memiliki karakter multitasking hal ini sesuai dengan munculnya Era Society 5.0 yang pertama kali dikenalkan di Jepang oleh perdana menteri Shinzo Abe yaitu super-smart society yang melakukan digitalisasi tidak hanya di bidang ekonomi dan industri namun seluruh aspek kehidupan. Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaaran di Indonesia merupakan bidang studi yang mengajarkan rasa nasionalisme dan cara menjadi warga negara Indonesia yang taat pada asas hukum Indonesia, digitalisasi dalam segala bidang di masa yang akan datang menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi efektivitas pengajaran Pancasila dan Kewarganegaaraan karena kemajuan teknologi kerap kali dianggap akan melunturkan rasa nasionalisme pada generasi muda. Metode dan pendekatan penelitian menggunakan adalah library research yakni pengumpulan data yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal, artikel dan sumber baca lainnya. Penelitian membuktikan bahwa teknologi dapat membantu pengajaran Pancasila dan Kewarganegaaraan menjadi lebih optimal dengan cara-cara yang disukai generasi kini.
