Abstract

This research describes the problems of (1) development of SBdP KIT media, (2) feasibility of SBdP KIT media. The aim of this research is to determine the process of developing SBdP KIT media and to determine the feasibility of media. The method used in this research is R&D carried out in five from the Borg & Gall model. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation and questionnaires, were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Data validity uses validation and response techniques. The research was carried out at SD Dumpil and SD Alasdowo 01 in class IV. The results of the research explain the development and results of the SBdP KIT media field trials based on the results of teacher and student response questionnaires at SD Dumpil and SD Alasdowo 01 with percentages of 95% and 97% with the criteria "very feasible" for teacher responses. Student responses were 93% and 89% with the criteria "very feasible" involving 12 students from SD Dumpil and 14 students from SD Alasdowo 01. It is hoped that the media will be useful and can become a medium for students to be more creative in making handicrafts, especially in Fine Arts subjects with recycled craft materials.

This research aims to explain the development of Mandala Sand media in grade IV elementary school fine arts learning. The researcher used the type of R&D research and development using Sugiyono's book which was carried out up to step 6, the steps are as follows; (1) Potential and problems; (2) Data collection; (3) Product design; (4) Design validation; (5) Design revision; and (6) Product testing. The results of material expert validation obtained a percentage of 100% with the criteria "Very Eligible". The validation results from media experts obtained an average percentage of 80% with the criteria "Worthy". The results of the class IV trial at SDN Kalongan 02 obtained an average percentage of 92% with the criteria "Very Good" and the results of the class IV trial at SDIMPA Ar-Rahim obtained an average percentage of 88% with the criteria "Very Good". Based on the results of the description above, the product developed by the author, namely Mandala Sand media, is said to be suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the representation of character education values in the animated film Riko The Series and to explain the internalization process of these values among fifth-grade students at SDN Gemah Semarang. The research is based on the importance of strengthening character education in primary schools through contextual, engaging, and easily understood media. Local animated films rich in moral messages are considered potential alternatives to support character-based learning. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data include selected episodes of Riko The Series (episodes 3–5, Season 5), classroom teachers, and students. Data were analyzed inductively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the film represents character values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, cooperation, empathy, social care, and religiosity through narratives and visuals that are relatable to children’s experiences. The internalization process occurs through film viewing sessions followed by classroom discussions, reflective activities, and teacher-led reinforcement. Students demonstrated good understanding and positive responses toward the use of visual media in learning. In conclusion, the representation of values in this film makes it an effective medium for character education, particularly in elementary school settings. The internalization process becomes more optimal when supported by continuous teacher guidance. Recommendations are addressed to teachers, students, and schools to better integrate educational films into character education strategies.
