Abstract

Humans, as social beings, require other people in their lives. Children between the ages of 5 and 6 years are capable of playing with their peers, recognizing their friends' emotions and responding spontaneously and sharing them with others. However, five children in class B at Mawaddah Warahmah Kindergarten have been unable to work in teams, engage with peers, or display the ability to work together. They were assessed for needed support with social emotional development. The flag relay game has features that can help children at that age develop socially and emotionally. The classroom action research was undertaken to enhance early childhood socio-emotional development through the use of a flag relay activity with five children as subjects. Data were obtained through observation, performance and documentation. Through a series of activities, it was discovered that children's social-emotional development increased, as seen by the ability of children to form groups, connect with peers, and collaborate in the cycle III. The study's findings indicate that the flag relay game can promote the social and emotional development of Grade B children at Aceh Besar's Mawaddah Warahmah Kindergarten. It is suggested that this flag relay game be adopted as an outdoor learning activity to help children develop their social, emotional and macro motor skills. ABSTRAKManusia butuh orang lain dalam kehidupannya. Anak sudah dapat bermain dengan anak lain seusianya serta peka terhadap perasaan teman dan mampu mengkomunikasikan perasaan secara wajar saat mereka berusia 5-6 tahun. Namun, terdapat 5 anak pada kelas B di TK Mawaddah Warahmah yang belum mampu bergabung dalam satu kelompok, berinteraksi dengan teman seusia, serta menunjukkan kemampuan bekerja sama. Kelima anak tersebut diidentifikasi membutuhkan upaya pengembangan sosial emosional. Permainan estafet bendera memiliki karakteristik yang dapat menumbuhkan sosial emosional anak pada usia tersebut. Penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengembangkan aspek sosial emosional anak usia dini melalui permainan estafet bendera dimana kelima anak tersebut menjadi subjeknya dan dilaksanakan di Taman Kanak-kanak tersebut. Data didapatkan melalui observasi, unjuk kerja dan dokumentasi. Dari serangkaian aktivitas pada penelitian ini didapati adanya peningkatan perkembangan sosial emosional anak, dimana didapatkan pada siklus III anak telah mampu bergabung dalam kelompok, berinteraksi dengan teman seusia, dan bekerja sama. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah permainan tersebut dapat membantu pengembangan sosial emosional peserta didik pada kelas B di TK Mawaddah Warahmah Aceh Besar. Disarankan permainan estafet bendera ini dapat dijadikan sebagai permainan dalam pembelajaran outdoor untuk mengembangkan aspek sosial emosional serta kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak.

Abstract

Learning media is something that educators must prepare to improve the quality of learning. Apart from that, the improvement of student character based on Pancasila must also be fostered by an educator in students.  Student dependence on smartphones cannot be avoided, which has an impact on student character. Therefore, digital-based learning media is needed with a student Pancasila character approach. This research aims to develop the Geography Science in Al-Qur'an (GeoScienQu) Android application as an innovative geography learning medium, focusing on improving the character of high school students in Banda Aceh. This application is designed by integrating geography learning contained in the Al-Qur'an as a source of knowledge, and strengthening student character. The research results of the validity of the Geoscienqu application media before repairs were 86% and after repairs the results were 96.59%. Testing the effectiveness of the Geoscienqu application for material validation was 96.48% with very feasible criteria. Meanwhile, the practicality test of the Geoscienqu application in a small group was 86.75% and the practicality test in a large group was 88.25% with very practical criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the Geoscienqu application can be used as a learning medium to increase students' Pancasila profile.
