Abstract

The role of tools as educational media is crucial in facilitating the learning of scientific concepts, allowing students to master science materials and develop their skills effectively. This research aims to develop a KIT as an experimental approach to learning focused on investigating the relationships among voltage, current, resistance, and power. This study employs a research and development (R&D) approach to design and implement an impactful science learning tool for science experiments. The envisioned impact of this learning tool is to captivate students' interest and concept understanding in science education, especially in Ohm's law for the dynamic electricity topic. The design of the KIT Humoris is specifically structured to establish and illustrate the relationships between voltage, current, and resistance, as well as to calculate power based on voltage and current values. The user-friendly design and visually appealing features of the KIT Humoris make it a practical tool that enhances the tangible understanding of science concepts. Integrating this tool with the Merdeka Curriculum allows teachers to customize lessons according to the unique needs of their students. The design process involves meticulous planning, prototype development, and continuous evaluation to ensure the tool's effectiveness. Results from the trial phase indicate heightened student engagement, improved conceptual understanding, and a profound practical learning experience. KIT Humoris is a valuable science learning tool, providing an engaging and practical approach aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. Its successful implementation increases student enthusiasm and a deeper comprehension of scientific principles. The implications are contributing to the innovation of teaching methods, especially in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. From a practical standpoint, the tool has a positive impact on students and their understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is crucial for equipping learners with the skills and knowledge needed to address global sustainability challenges. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of ESD-based teaching materials across various educational levels. Utilizing databases such as Google Scholar, SINTA, and Scopus, the study reviews articles focusing on the integration of ESD in formal education. The findings indicate that ESD-based materials significantly enhance students' critical thinking skills, sustainability awareness, and problem-solving abilities. These materials are deemed valid and practical by both experts and students, and they effectively facilitate the understanding and application of scientific principles to real-world problems. The study underscores the importance of incorporating ESD into educational curricula to foster a generation equipped to tackle environmental and societal challenges. Additionally, the use of digital tools and e-platforms proves effective in promoting sustainability education. Overall, the integration of ESD in education is vital for promoting sustainable development and improving the quality of education across primary, secondary, and higher education levels, particularly in disaster-prone regions like Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas urgensi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Pancasila dalam menumbuhkan semangat nasionalisme generasi muda di era milenial. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Pancasila penting diajarkan kepada warga negara untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dan dapat menerapkan nilai yang terkandung dari Pancasila dalam kerangka identitas nasional. Salah satu permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi Indonesia adalah memudarnya semangat nasionalisme terkhusus di kalangan generasi muda. Dengan mempelajari Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Pancasila, generasi milenial dapat memupuk semangat nasionalisme sehingga menjadikan mereka lebih tahan terhadap pengaruh negatif dan ancaman dari luar yang sedang merajalela. Mereka akan siap menghadapi segala tantangan sekaligus dapat mencetak generasi muda yang bertanggung jawab demi kemajuan bangsa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian studi literatur dengan menyajikan data dari pencarian referensi teori yang relevan. Metode pengumpulan data adalah studi pustaka. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Data yang diperoleh dikompulasi, dianalisis, dan disimpulkan sehingga mendapatkan kesimpulan mengenai studi literatur. Hasil yang diperoleh dari temuan permasalahan dengan studi literatur menunjukkan melunturnya rasa nasionalisme yang akan menjadi permasalahan serius bagi bangsa Indonesia jika tetap dibiarkan.   This study aims to discuss the urgency of Citizenship Education and Pancasila in fostering the spirit of nationalism of the younger generation in the millennial era. Citizenship education and Pancasila are important to be taught to citizens to instill civic values and be able to apply the values contained in Pancasila within the framework of national identity. One of the problems Indonesia is currently facing is the waning of the spirit of nationalism, especially among the younger generation. By studying Citizenship Education and Pancasila, the millennial generation can cultivate the spirit of nationalism so as to make them more resistant to negative influences and threats from outside that are rampant. They will be ready to face all challenges as well as be able to produce a young generation that is responsible for the progress of the nation. This research includes a literature study by presenting data from the search for relevant theoretical references. The method of data collection is literature study. The method used is a literature study. The data obtained were compiled, analyzed, and concluded so as to obtain conclusions regarding the study of literature. The results obtained from the findings of the problem with the study of literature show the diminishing sense of nationalism which will become a serious problem for the Indonesian people if left unchecked.
