Abstract

The potential and prospects for the development of traditional foods represent a strategic effort to boost the local economy based on local resources. This study aims to analyze the potential and prospects for the development of traditional foods in Mattiro Bulu Subdistrict, Pinrang Regency. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants consisted of 10 home industry entrepreneurs selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Mattiro Bulu Subdistrict possesses abundant local resources, particularly in the agricultural sector, such as rice, corn, bananas, and tubers. However, the utilization of this potential remains suboptimal due to limitations in human resources, a lack of product innovation, and low adoption of digital technology. The strategies employed by business operators remain rudimentary, including setting affordable prices, limited product innovation, and conventional promotion. The research findings also reveal a gap between high local potential and low business management capacity, necessitating support through training, mentoring, and the digitalization of SMEs to enhance the competitiveness of traditional food products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kontribusi pelatihan Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) dan literasi digital khususnya pemanfaatan portal KarirHub terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kabupaten Pinrang. Berbasis pada temuan jurnal dan wawancara kualitatif dengan pejabat Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi, studi ini menyintesis tiga tema: (1) relevansi serta sebaran pelatihan BLK; (2) mekanisme penyebarluasan informasi pasar kerja berbasis portal, dan (3) kesiapan kerja beserta jalur alternatif melalui kewirausahaan Tenaga Kerja Mandiri (TKM). Pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif digunakan untuk memetakan hubungan antar konsep dan merumuskan kerangka yang dapat diuji secara kuantitatif pada riset lanjutan. Hasil menunjukkan kombinasi pelatihan berbasis kompetensi dan literasi digital pencari kerja mempercepat proses job-matching, menurunkan waktu tunggu kerja, serta meningkatkan kecocokan penempatan. Faktor pendukung kemitraan industri, job fair, dan pendampingan pasca pelatihan, memperkuat peluang penyerapan atau mendorong kemandirian usaha melalui TKM. Studi ini merekomendasikan integrasi kurikulum BLK dengan kebutuhan pasar lokal, paket literasi digital terstruktur untuk penggunaan KarirHub (pembuatan akun, CV online, dan pelamaran), serta dashboard monitoring lintas program untuk menelusuri outcome lulusan. Implikasi kebijakan menekankan kolaborasi BLK industri, pelacakan penempatan berbasis data, dan penguatan pendanaan mikro bagi wirausaha.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Botto Mallangga Village, investigate the factors that influence the low performance of BUMDes, and identify existing business obstacles and opportunities. The benefits of this study for the village community are improving the quality of public services and infrastructure through better management of Village Funds and BUMDes, encouraging active community participation in the management and development of BUMDes for the common good. Practically, this study provides guidance for BUMDes managers in Botto Mallangga Village to improve transparency, accountability, and professionalism in managing village finances and resources. The object of this study is BUMDes Bottomallangga. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used in this study was qualitative descriptive analysis. After conducting the analysis process, it was found that the quality of Human Resources (HR) in BUMDes Bottomallangga is still limited, especially in terms of managing financial reports. Most BUMDes managers do not have experience in economics education, nor have they ever participated in practices related to financial management. This results in financial report management that is still done manually without utilizing technology. The development of BUMDes business units has also experienced a decline, caused by the emergence of competitors and internal problems.
