Abstract

Pregnant women experience physical and psychological changes during the pregnancy process. Physical changes impact the mother experiencing several complaints of back pain, weakness body, and tired easily. Based on the interviews with health volunteers in the Gejawan Wetan and Gejawan Kulon region found that pregnant women complain of stiffness in the body frequently. In addition, pregnant women in this region have never participated in exercise during their pregnancy. The program to reduce this problem is giving health education about adaptation in pregnant women, activities during pregnancy and prenatal yoga for pregnant women. After participating in this program, it is expected that pregnant women can overcome their complaints during pregnancy by doing some activities which are suitable for pregnant women and doing prenatal yoga exercises as well. Therefore, with those activities, the back pain among pregnant women can be reduced so that the quality of life of pregnant women can be improved

Abstract

Abstract Coverage of cervical cancer screening in Indonesia has only reached 5% and cervical cancer in Indonesia is still relatively high. The aimed of this cross-sectional study were to explore perceived barriers of cervical cancer screening and regular screening history among 384 married women in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Data were collected using modified questionnaire items from Champion Health Beliefs Model Scale. Results showed that only 13.8% of respondent have regular screening. Most of respondent in both group Regular and Non-regular/Never had screening perceived that they preferred a female doctor to conduct a screening. Significant association was found between perceived barriers for screening and women’s regular screening history (p-value =0.000). Important barriers reported from this study were male physicians, time-consuming for screening procedure, and embarrassment. Effort to increase screening need to focus on women who have high perceived barriers so that cervical cancer screening’s promotion can be achieved.

Abstract

Aisyiyah as a religious women's organization in Ngadiwinatan has various activitiesbased on community empowerment-one of them is empowering the economicindependence of Aisyiyah residents. During this pandemic, Aisyiyah's work from theNgadiwinatan Branch of Aisyiyah is urgently needed to help Aisyiyah residents who areaffected by economic difficulties, especially in maintaining economic independence.Therefore, it takes an effort to be able to facilitate or help the economic difficulties of theresidents of Aisyiyah Ngadiwinatan. The ultimate goal of this activity is to optimize the roleof the Ngadiwinatan Branch in the economic independence of its members. This activityconsists of three stages, starting with an entrepreneurship seminar, creating an onlinediscussion forum and facilitating the opening of the Aisyiyah Ngadiwinatan Branch ofeconomic business unit. The results of this activity are the increased knowledge ofparticipants in entrepreneurship, the active involvement of members in online shops and theformation of the BUEKA Ngadiwinatan shop manager as a forum for the economicindependence of Aisyiyah Ngadiwinatan residents. Furthermore, the implication of thisactivity is the increased insight of the participants to develop their business online byutilizing social media and working together. The conclusion of this activity is that the activeparticipation and high motivation of the administrators and members of the Ngadiwinatanbranch of Aisyiyah led to the immediate formation of an economic business unit named theBUEKA Ngadiwinatan shop.

Abstract

Background: Nutritional status will affect the formation of hormones involved in the menstrual process such as FSH, LH, estrogen and progesterone hormones. Adolescents with less or more nutrition will have an impact on reproductive disorders including the menstrual cycle and also dysmenorrhea. Aims: Knowing the relationship between Nutritional Status with Menstrual Cycle and Dysmenorrhea Methods: This research uses analytic observational method with cross sectional approach. The population of this research is all students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 02 Yogyakarta class X, XI academic year 2021/2022, with a sample of 72 people. Inclusion criteria are students aged 15-18. Exclusion criteria were experiencing reproductive disease and smoking. The sampling technique is probability sampling by means of simple random sampling. Results: The results showed that 36 female students (50.0%) had normal nutritional status, 42 female students (58.3%) experienced normal menstrual cycles, and 53 female students (73.6%) experienced dysmenorrhea. Statistically with the Spearman Rank test, it was found that nutritional status had a relationship with the menstrual cycle, P value = 0.003 (p <0.05), then the results also showed that nutritional status did not have a correlation with dysmenorrhoea which showed P value = 0.25 (p>0 ,05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between nutritional status and menstrual cycle in Adolescent Girls at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 02 Yogyakarta. There is no relationship between nutritional status and dysmenorrhea in Adolescent Girls at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 02 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Ibu hamil mengalami perubahan fisik dan psikologis selama proses kehamilan. Perubahan fisik yang muncul mengakibatkan ibu mengalami beberapa keluhan nyeri pada punggung bagian belakang, badan terasa lebih lemas, dan mudah lelah. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan kader kesehatan di Wilayah Gejawan wetan dan Gejawan Kulon ibu hamil sering mengeluhkan badan terasa pegal – pegal dan kaku, selain itu ibu hamil di wilayah ini belum pernah mengikuti senam selama hamil. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi masalah tersebut yakni dengan edukasi tentang adaptasi pada ibu hamil, aktifitas selama hamil dan prenatal yoga bagi ibu hamil. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini diharapkan ibu hamil dapat mengatasi keluhan yang dirasakan selama hamil dengan melakukan aktifitas yang sesuai bagi ibu hamil serta melakukan senam prenatal yoga. Dengan hal ini nyeri punggung belakang yang dirasakan ibu dapat berkurang sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup ibu hamil
