Abstract

The problem of this article is that it examines the importance of understanding the political context at the time of Jesus's life, which became a challenge in His ministry. The Son of God offers true political principles compared to the motives of the socio-political movements of that time. The purpose of this article is to explain the political principles of Jesus to promote the values of the Kingdom of God. As a result, the political principle of Jesus offers human redemption to become citizens of God's Kingdom. Jesus' teachings became the standard that inspired the world order regarding love and truth as the main points of His message (Mk 1:15). In carrying out His redemptive mission, Jesus did not carry guns and swords. However, Jesus' political principles were based on love and truth. In conclusion, the essence of Jesus' politics emphasizes God's mercy for sinners.

Abstract

This article examines the intersection of digital habitus, missional identity, and discipleship practice among Indonesian Christian Gen Z through a hermeneutic phenomenological approach. Gen Z, the first cohort born and raised entirely within a digital ecosystem, inhabits a spirituality profoundly shaped by networked practices. Drawing on Pierre Bourdieu's concept of habitus, the study examines how digital practices constitute spiritual dispositions that facilitate or constrain missional identity formation. Through a literature-based inquiry using hermeneutic phenomenology of contemporary theological, sociological, and missiological texts, the article analyzes lived religious experience within digital fellowship and the ways Indonesian Christian Gen Z negotiates faith, community, and missional calling in phygital spaces. Four thematic discussions are developed, namely digital habitus as a shifting spiritual ecology, digital fellowship as an ecclesial locus, the transformation of discipleship models within digital ecosystems, and networked discipleship as an emerging missiological paradigm. The article argues that authentic discipleship for Gen Z requires a theological reframing of community, presence, and mission, articulated through three operative principles, namely habitus incorporation, phygital koinonia, and missional vocation.
