The offenses of elections law always occur at every elections in Indonesia. Central Java has the number of offenses which fluctuate and the same type of offense at every general elections. Thus, the need for capacity building Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Tengah to exercises the supervision of elections. The research aims to describe capacity building of Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Tengah to exercises the supervision of elections, to describe the factors that affecting capacity building of Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Tengah to exercise the supervision of elections. The research method uses qualitative methods. The research object is Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Tengah. The results showed that the capacity building of Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Tengah to exercises the supervision of elections carried out through training of trainers, bimbingan teknis, rapat koordinator, recruitment and selection, and the socialization of participative supervision. The factors that affect it, among others, leadership, commitment, networks and information and communication media. The advice given is the socialization of participative supervision participatory surveillance conducted in public open spaces and improvement of regulations related by the authority of Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Tengah to impose sanctions of the offenders election laws.

This article discusses candidacy transformation which is previously characterized as inclusive-exclusive to inclusive-pragmatic of Prosperous Justice Party (Partai Keadilan Sejahtera/PKS) in the legislative election. The argument is based on the woman candidacy processes of PKS legislative candidates within different legislative election periods namely 2004, 2009, 2014, and 2019. Based on the collected data, the 2009 General Election is the momentum where the most significant legislative seats are acquired by female candidates compared to the other three legislative elections. That phenomenon is this studyâ€™s starting point in this article that explores the factors of PKS woman candidate electability, which are each candidateâ€™s social and political capital. This article's conceptual framework is the narration of male power relation as the effort to win seats for PKS woman legislative candidates, which is obtained from the relation with local elites in their respective areas in the 2019 General Election. In contrast to the three previous general elections, the PKS woman legislative candidate electability was sourced from their political and organizational experience and social network in the society. Through a qualitative case study, this article uses interviews as the primary data source, while related documentation and publication as secondary data.

Sejak pandemi covid-19 melanda, Indonesia mengalami beberapa penyesuaian kegiatan pembelajaran misalnya metode belajar daring (online) dan pembatasan pertemuan secara langsung. Oleh karenanya, penting bagi guru untuk memiliki keterampilan dalam mendesain maupun menghasilkan beraneka ragam jenis bahan ajar. Pemilihan bahan ajar yang tepat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Hasil observasi yang dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar menunjukkan hasil adanya hambatan yang di alami oleh pihak sekolah yaitu guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun bahan ajar digital. Salah satu platform yang dapat digunakan untuk Menyusun bahan ajar adalah canva. Tujuan pelatihan adalah memberikan pendampingan agar dapat menyusun bahan ajar digital dengan memanfaatkan platform canva. Platform ini memiliki akses yang mudah serta penggunaan yang praktis. Sebelum memulai kegiatan, guru sudah menyiapkan bahan ajar, email aktif, dan laptop. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan workshop langsung berupa pemaparan materi platform canva. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di aula SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar dan diikuti oleh 52 guru. Output kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi berupa platform canva untuk membuat bahan ajar digital.

This paper aims to determine the process of deliberative democracy in the use of affirmative action 30% quota for women as a starting point in increasing women's representation in parliament. This is because in gender equality in politics in Indonesia there is a large gap between the representation of women and men even after the policy is enacted. Through deliberative democracy, increasing women's representation can use policies made through discursive means in civil society. The method in this paper is a descriptive qualitative method using the author's analysis of book reviews and research with related themes. The results of this paper study the ratification of affirmative action policies in 2023 through various kinds of dialogue and rejection. Arguments for rejection include (1) equality is considered an individual quality, not a quota, (2) quotas are considered an obstacle, (3) psychological constraints on women, (4) gender construction against women. The rejection argument makes the affirmative action policy a massive debate in the public sphere which becomes the aspiration of women activists to fight for in the political system. Habermas' view states that a legal product will gain strong legitimacy if in the process of making it through debate and discussion in the public sphere.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of democracy and village autonomy in the process of village head elections. The election of a village head is one form of genuine and pure village autonomy and democracy. However, with the emergence of modern states, the independence and ability of rural communities to manage their affairs have diminished. This is closely related to the decentralization that occurs in unitary states such as Indonesia. In a unitary state, one of the central matters is legal affairs. Legal matters include regulating the election of village heads, as stipulated in Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 112 of 2014 concerning the Election of Village Heads. This research uses a normative juridical method. The research results explain that village head elections, based on rules from the central government cascaded down to the village level, become procedural in the implementation of village head elections. In fact, these rules lead to the phenomenon of husband and wife pairs running as village head candidates in the same village to avoid having a single candidate, thereby enabling the village head election to take place. Furthermore, violations of rules regarding village head elections are common, such as instances of money politics and the lack of neutrality among village officials, but there is no legal follow-up related to these violations. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan demokrasi dan otonomi desa dalam proses pemilihan kepala desa. Pemilihan kepala desa merupakan salah satu bentuk dari otonomi dan demokrasi desa yang asli dan murni. Namun dengan munculnya negara modern, kemandirian dan kemampuan masyarakat desa untuk mengatur urusan desanya mulai berkurang. Hal tersebut tidak lepas dengan adanya desentralisasi yang terjadi di negara kesatuan seperti Indonesia. Dalam negara kesatuan salah satu urusan yang menjadi urusan pusat adalah soal hukum. Urusan hukum tersebut tidak lepas dari urusan untuk mengatur pemilihan kepala desa sebagaimana terdapat pada Permendagri No 112 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemilihan Kepala Desa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pemilihan kepala desa yang berdasarkan aturan-aturan dari pemerintah pusat yang diturunkan hingga tingkat desa menjadi prosedural dalam pelaksaan pemilihan kepala desa. Bahkan aturan tersebut menimbulkan adanya fenomena pasangan suami istri yang maju sebagai calon kepala desa di desa yang sama untuk menghindari calon tunggal sehingga pemilihan kepala desa dapat dilaksanakan. Selain itu ternyata aturan mengenai pemilihan kepala desa juga banyak terjadi pelanggaran namun tidak ada tindak lanjut hukum terkait pelanggaran tersebut. Pelanggaran tersebut antara lain adalah adanya money politics dan ketidaknetralan perangkat desa.

This article focuses on social media activities by beginning voters at SMAN 12 Semarang City for forming their political preferences of the 2024 election. Social media activities are one way to fulfill information needs, including political information, especially ahead of the 2024 election. The purpose of the article is to report the benefits of social media in providing political preferences to beginning voters to determine their choice in the 2024 election. The method of implementing this activity is carried out socialization to class XII students. The output of this activity is in increasing beginning voters' knowledge of political actors participating in the election through the use of social media.

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) memiliki karakter konservasi yang menjadi pilar wajib bagi karakter mahasiswa UNNES, yaitu Inspiratif, Humanis, Peduli, Inovatif, Sportif, Kreatif, Jujur dan Adil. Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai karakter konservasi yang di implementasikan melalui kegiatan ekstrakuler berbasis pada keaktifan mahasiswa mengikuti berbagai kegiatan di luar kampus. Keikutsertaan mahasiswa Unnes dalam Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran Mahasiswa Nasional (MTQMN) menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara peserta MTQMN untuk mencari kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam meningkatkan karakter konservasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan mahasiswa Unnes lebih sadar dan terlibat aktif dalam meningkatkan kontribusi berbasis prestasi dalam ajang perlombaan nasional melalui karakter peduli, kreatif, inovatif dan sportif. Karakter tersebut merupakan citra dari karakter Mahasiswa UNNES yang perlu ditingkatkan agar dapat meningkatkan kulitas diri melalui karakter konservasi.
