Abstract

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi upaya penguatan tradisi akademik melalui inisiatif kreatif di kalangan mahasiswa program studi Gizi di Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU). Urgensi kajian ini terletak pada kebutuhan untuk mempersiapkan lulusan yang tidak hanya kompeten secara teknis tetapi juga memiliki integritas etis yang tinggi, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan profesional di bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi adalah kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik serta isu plagiarisme yang mengancam integritas akademik. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka yang komprehensif, menggabungkan analisis literatur dan observasi terhadap praktik pendidikan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif dan analisis dokumen akademik. Sumber data utama terdiri dari jurnal ilmiah, buku, serta data observasional dari lingkungan pembelajaran di UINSU. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema kunci terkait inisiatif kreatif dan praktik etis dalam pendidikan. Untuk uji keabsahan data, digunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode, yang membandingkan berbagai jenis data dan teknik pengumpulan untuk memastikan akurasi dan reliabilitas hasil. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi alat digital seperti platform LMS, software manajemen referensi, dan alat deteksi plagiarisme, serta penekanan pada orisinalitas dan etika dalam penulisan ilmiah, secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan kesiapan profesional mahasiswa. Sehingga, inisiatif kreatif yang diterapkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the true learning ethics in students majoring in Nutrition FKM UIN North Sumatra. The foundation of a student's character is their ethics. A excellent student needs to be morally upright as well. But not every student is aware of ethics. There are a lot of problems or instances of unethical pupils in the classroom these days. A common issue with student ethics is a lack of respect for professors. For instance, when the instructor is speaking or going over the content, the pupils are not paying attention. For example, lecturers criticize students who like talking loudly enough to communicate with other students while playing games on their phones, as this interferes with class activities and shows disrespect for the speaker. Therefore, it may be said that while some students still act unethically in a classroom setting, others should be aware of and mindful of ethical behavior in such a setting. The aim of this study is to investigate how students apply and understand student ethics in a classroom setting. Both observation and interviewing are used in this study. Thirty sources and five indicators were employed in this study, which included DIII nursing students studying health information management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the reading ethos of students in the Department of Nutrition FKM UIN North Sumatra. Using a questionnaire to gather information from a sample of students in the Gorontalo State University information engineering department, the research used descriptive statistics for data analysis. Reading is a valuable skill that offers many benefits, including broadening one's understanding of the world, improving critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and encouraging personal growth and development. There are several reasons why reading is important, and this study aims to explore these reasons. The research's conclusions are as follows: 1) Students majoring in nutrition still have a relatively low interest in reading books; this is probably because they become bored easily. 2) Students understand the value of reading books despite the findings showing a low interest in reading. 3) Students believe that reading may enhance their capacity for critical thought, that reading can alter their perspective on a subject, that reading can facilitate their academic progress, and that reading can have long-term advantages.
