Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and describe the profile of students' responsibilities for PPKn learning for class IV SD 1 Soco. This research uses a quantitative research approach obtained using numbers and data analysis techniques. The sample for this research was all class IV students at SD 1 Soco, totaling 11 students. The research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions that measured the level of student responsibility in Civics learning with 4 indicators. The data that has been collected is analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentages. The results of the research show that the level of responsibility of students at SD 1 Soco class IV is mostly in the medium category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students caused by the lack of learning activities and teacher-centered learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model assisted by PANZAT media on the mathematical problem-solving ability of elementary school students and examine the role of learning activities in supporting these abilities. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest. The subjects of the study were 42 second-grade students of SD Negeri 5 Ngabul. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and tests, while data analysis included normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and simple regression tests. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. In addition, learning activities had a positive and significant effect on mathematical problem-solving ability with a correlation coefficient of 0.788 and a determination coefficient of 0.622. Thus, RME learning assisted by PANZAT media has a positive effect on students' learning activities and mathematical problem-solving abilities

Abstract

Seni ukir Jepara merupakan warisan budaya lokal yang tidak hanya memiliki nilai estetika dan filosofis, tetapi juga mengandung konsep-konsep matematika yang digunakan secara intuitif oleh para pengrajin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motif ukir Jepara ditinjau dari perspektif etnomatematika, khususnya pada konsep geometri dan nilai filosofis yang terkandung di dalamnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan pengrajin ukir Jepara, serta dokumentasi artefak ukiran, yang dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan triangulasi teknik untuk menjaga keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motif ukir Jepara mengandung berbagai konsep matematika, seperti geometri bangun datar (segitiga, persegi, persegi panjang, belah ketupat, jajar genjang, trapesium, dan lingkaran), geometri bangun ruang (balok dan tabung), konsep kongruensi, serta transformasi geometri berupa translasi. Selain itu, setiap motif ukiran juga memuat nilai-nilai filosofis yang mencerminkan pandangan hidup masyarakat Jepara, seperti keseimbangan, keselarasan, ketekunan, dan hubungan harmonis antara manusia, alam, dan Sang Pencipta. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa seni ukir Jepara berpotensi menjadi sumber belajar kontekstual dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya.
