Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence parents' income and the distance from a student's home to school have on student achievement at SMK Tarbiyatul Ulum. Because if you know the factors that influence student achievement, steps or actions can be taken to improve student achievement. The method used in this study includes the use of clustering using K-Means and then classifying it using the Decision Tree method with a total of 157 datasets used as research material. After conducting the classification modeling using the decision tree algorithm, it was found that parents' income did not affect student achievement, but the distance from home to school did affect student achievement. Then at the evaluation stage, the decision tree algorithm is not suitable for use in predicting student achievement, because the accuracy and AUC values of this algorithm are 68% and 0.561, where these values fall into the failure category.

Abstract

The quality of the software can be measured one of them by testing the functionality of the system whether the system is running as it should or not. To maintain this quality, we need a test to find out the functionality in the scholarship recipient's decision support system at SMK Tarbiyatul Ulum Karawang using the Black Box Testing method where this method tests the functionality of the scholarship recipient's decision support system. the test thoroughly checks all the functionality in the scholarship recipient's decision support system. From the results of the tests carried out, it was found that all the functionality of the scholarship recipient's decision support system was running properly and there was no functionality failure.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan subsystem pendidikan yang secara konkrit mendukung penyiapan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja. SMK Teknologi Karawang memiliki suatu komponen penting dalam menunjang persiapan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja dengan adanya BKK. karena BKK berperan dalam mengoptimalkan pemerataan lulusan SMK dan menjadi sumber informasi bagi pencari kerja. Dalam pengelolaannya BKK SMK Teknologi Karawang belum memiliki suatu website sehigga terkendala dalam penyebaran informasi lowongan kerja, dari permasalahan itu penulis membuat website BKK dapat memberikan informasi lowongan kerja dan pendaftaran kerja secara online. Website tersebut dibuat menggunakan metode Waterfall yang dibuat secara sistematis dan berurut dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan sistem sampai pada pemiliharan. Dalam pembuatan website tersebut di tenagai oleh Conten Management System Wordpress sebagai mesin utamanya yang membantu dalam pemrosesan data dan tampilannya sehingga lebih mudah dalam pembuatan website tersebut. Aplikasi System informasi Bursa Kerja Khusus ini diharapkan membantu Sekolah SMK Teknologi Karawang dalam mempermudah alumni dan Masyarakat umum untuk mencari lowongan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Scholarships are a program that students get to continue their studies. Tarbiyatul Ulum Vocational School is a formal secondary level vocational institution which has a large number of students. Some of these students are entitled to get scholarships available at Tarbiyatul Ulum Vocational School. So far, the Administrative Staff to select students who are entitled to receive scholarships is done manually so that it takes a long time and the possibility of human error occurs so it is not efficient to use in selecting students who will get scholarships with a large number of students. Therefore, a scholarship recommendation system is needed that can provide consideration to Administrative Staff in grouping students based on scholarships that are suitable for them to participate in, so that with this recommendation system Administrative Staff can clearly group students without the occurrence of human error because it has been calculated automatically by the system. The system uses the Simple Additive Weighting method as a decision-making method with various criteria with weighted values according to the existing criteria and the Waterfall method as a method for making the system starting from the planning stage to the maintenance stage so that it is sequential in the development of this recommendation system. The results of this system can directly recommend selected students for the relevant scholarship based on the highest recommendation value which is calculated using the Simple Additive Weighting method.

Abstract

Pendidikan telah lama diakui sebagai kekuatan pendorong utama perkembangan masyarakat dan individu. Di dalam era dinamis saat ini, peran pendidikan semakin memegang posisi sentral sebagai sarana strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Dalam mengukur kemampuan siswa sekolah melaksanakan sebuah asesmen/ujian guna melakukan tolak ukur Pendidikan dalam proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung. SMK Teknologi Karawang melakukan ujian dengan menggunakan sistem CBT dengan menggunakan mode semi online dan model client-server dalam pengoprasiannya. Dengan penelitian ini mengetahui bahwa mode semi online dengan model client-server efektif digunakan dalam konfigurasi client yang secara dinamis tanpa perlu konfigurasi satu persatu.
