Abstract

Understanding consumer ethnocentrism will enhance the tendency of individuals to have higher purchase intentions for local products. This research examines the direct effect of consumer ethnocentrism on the purchase intention of local sneakers in Indonesia and determine whether perceived quality can mediate the influence of consumer ethnocentrism on the purchase intentions of local sneakers. This research uses explanatory approach with respondents about 260 Generation Z in Indonesia. The data was analysed by Partial Least Square (PLS) with the WarpPLS 4.0 software. This research reveals that consumer ethnocentrism has a positive and significant influence on purchase intention, then perceived quality positively drives purchase intention. Additionally, the result shows that consumer ethnocentrism positively and significantly affects the perceived quality of local sneakers. Lastly, perceived quality can mediate the nexus between purchase intention on the perceived quality of local sneakers in Indonesia. This study provides managerial implication for companies that produce local sneakers should focus on improving the perceived quality of their products to increase purchase intention among consumers with high levels of ethnocentrism.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is the main variable that must be considered in managing human resource practices. Job satisfaction discusses the extent to which employees are satisfied or dissatisfied with their jobs are caused by several factors that motivate them. This study aims to dig deeper into job satisfaction variable. In achieving this goal, the researchers used a systematic review using PRISMA method and bibliometric analysis techniques which took journals from Science Direct and Emerald during 2017-2022. The results of the screening on the PRISMA method produced 30 (thirty) articles written by 95 (ninety five) authors. Based on the 30 (thirty) articles collected, the results of this study found that there are 4 (four) categories that explain several variables that related to job satisfaction, including leadership, salary, organizational commitment, and job stress. Overall, the research is expected to be the right reference for further research, especially researchers who will examine titles that related to job satisfaction.

Abstract

UMKM berperan penting sebagai sektor potensial dan menjaga stabilitas perekonomian, secara umum usaha kecil dan menengah sangat terlibat dalam peningkatan lapangan kerja dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan dan pengembangan wawasan manajerial pada UMKM Kue Karisma untuk penguatan bisnis. UMKM perlu dikelola sesuai strategi agar operasionalnya berkelanjutan dan tidak dikalahkan oleh pesaingnya. Dalam upaya untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, UMKM harus dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan, terencana, melalui berbagai cara dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing, menciptakan wirausaha baru, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ada beberapa tahapan yaitu identifikasi awal, analisis, pelaksanaan program, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Tim pengabdian merumuskan 4 (empat) program utama dalam kegiatan pengelolaan manajemen usaha UMKM Kue Karisma, antara lain: (1) Praktek pengoperasian sistem pengelolaan laporan keuangan; (2) Pembuatan desain grafis untuk meningkatkan daya jual; (3) Pengembangan pemasaran secara offline maupun online; dan (4) Pengembangan inovasi produk.

Abstract

Live-streaming shopping has become a new trend since the pandemic in 2020 where live streamers promote and sell products to consumers via social media channels by increasing intimacy and communication. This Is April is one of the leading fashion brands in Indonesia that focuses on fulfilling women's desires for fashionable, affordable and high-quality clothes, shoes, and bags. This Is April also continues to carry out promotions by keeping up with developments in consumer behavior that continues to change, one of which is by carrying out promotions by selling via live streaming on one of the e-commerce sites (TikTok). This study aims to investigate the effect of live streaming quality (LSQ) on purchase intention (PI) through immersive experience (IE), consumer trust (CT), and perceived value (PV) at This is April consumers on TikTok by answering 10 (ten) hypotheses. This research uses a quantitative approach using partial least squares equation model (PLS-SEM). The samples in this study were respondents who had experience in watching live streaming of This is April fashion products on TikTok within the last 3 (three) months and respondents who lived in the city of Malang using a non-probability sampling technique. The analysis results show that LSQ has a positive and significant effect on PI. Furthermore, the research results show that IE, CT, and PV are able to mediate the relationship between LSQ and PI. The implication of this finding can provide a theoretical basis and reference for seller of fashion clothing products to focus their attention on the important of effectively leverage live streaming quality to develop immersive experience, consumer trust, and perceived value to influence purchase intention
