Abstract

ABSTRACT Chronic kidney failure is a health problem in the world that continues to increase. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) chronic kidney disease kills 850,000 people every year. RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung Province, based on medical record data, it is known that the number of CRF sufferers in 2022 is 17,939 sufferers. Limiting intake of fluids and electrolytes in patients with chronic kidney failure (CKD) is very important. To know the relationship between compliance with fluid restrictions and the occurrence of fluid overload in post-hemodialysis chronic kidney failure patients at RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in 2023.The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The design in this study uses analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were post hemodialysis chronic kidney failure patients at RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in 2023 a total of 159 people, with a sample of 114 respondents. Data collection used a checklist sheet and a statistical test questionnaire using the chi square test. The level of adherence to fluid restriction in patients with chronic kidney failure showed that out of 114 respondents, the majority, namely 68 respondents (59.6%), were in the non-adherent category. The incidence of fluid overload in patients with chronic kidney failure showed that almost half of the respondents did not experience fluid overload, namely 23 respondents (40.4%). From the analysis between the two variables, it is known that there is a significant relationship between adherence to fluid restrictions and the occurrence of hypervolemia in chronic kidney failure patients at RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province with p value = 0.011 (p value 0.000 <0.05). Nurses in the hemodialysis room are expected to be more active in providing guidance or health education about diet and fluid intake in patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis so that the expected results are maximized. Keywords: Compliance,Fluid Restriction, Fluid Overload, Chronic Renal Failure  ABSTRAK Gagal ginjal kronis menjadi masalah kesehatan di dunia yang terus mengalami peningkatan. Menurut data World Health Organization (WHO) penyakit ginjal kronis membunuh 850.000 orang setiap tahun. RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung, berdasarkan data rekam medis diketahui bahwa jumlah penderita GGK pada tahun 2022 sejumlah 17.939 penderita. Pembatasan asupan pada cairan dan elektrolit pada pasien penderita gagal ginjal kronik (GGK) sangatlah penting. Diketahui Hubungan Kepatuhan Pembatasan Cairan Terhadap Terjadinya Overload Cairan Pada Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik Post Hemodialisa Di RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung Tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan croos sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien gagal ginjal kronik post hemodialisa di RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung Tahun 2023 sejumlah 159 orang, dengan sampel 114 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar checklist dan kuesioner uji statistic menggunakan uji chi square. Tingkat kepatuhan pembatasan cairan pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik didapatkan hasil bahwa dari 114 responden sebagian besar yaitu 68 responden (59,6%) termasuk kategori tidak patuh. Kejadian overload cairan pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik didapatkan hasil hampir setengah dari responden tidak mengalami overload cairan yaitu sebanyak 23 responden (40,4%). Dari analisis antara kedua variabel diketahui bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara kepatuhan pembatasan cairan terhadap terjadinya hipervolemia pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik di RSUD Dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung dengan p value = 0,011 (nilai p 0,000 < 0,05). Perawat diruangan hemodialisa diharapkan lebih aktif lagi dalam memberikan bimbingan ataupun penyuluhan kesehatan tentang asupan diet dan cairan pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisa agar hasil yang diharapkan lebih maksimal. Kata Kunci: Kepatuhan, Pembatasan Cairan, Kelebihan Cairan, Gagal Ginja Kronis

Abstract

Nosocomial infections are a complex problem for hospitals with high morbidity and mortality rates. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a series of practices learned and carried out consciously that enable individuals or families to maintain health and play an active role in achieving public health. To prevent the spread of infection, include washing your hands regularly with soap and clean water, complying with coughing and sneezing etiquette, avoiding direct contact with pets and wild animals, and avoiding coughing and coughing from respiratory diseases, such as: sneezing. The aim of this activity is to increase respondents' knowledge regarding preventing the risk of infection by coughing effectively and washing hands. It was found that respondents were very enthusiastic about listening to the material presented by the presenters. Washing your hands is a form of a clean and healthy lifestyle, such as cough etiquette which must be done anytime and anywhere

Abstract

Globally, the World Health Organization (WHO) notes that diarrhea related to acute gastroenteritis (AGE) is the second leading cause of death in children under five years of age, with more than 1.7 billion cases of diarrhea occurring each year. The economic burden due to AGE is substantial, including healthcare costs, loss of productivity, and long-term impacts on nutrition status and child development. Objective: to increase public awareness regarding the prevention of AGE. Method: The health education activities were conducted in the inpatient room of Bintang Amin Hospital using the method of community service by providing education on AGE prevention. The participants of the counseling were patients and their families. Results: This activity was held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Bintang Amin Hospital. All respondents were very enthusiastic about the material and demonstrations presented. Conclusion: After the counseling on the prevention of GEA, there was an increase in knowledge among respondents as seen from their responses when asked about the concept of GEA disease.

Abstract

Introduction: Numerous reactions, including behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and physiological ones, are brought on by stress. The hormone adrenaline causes the arteries to tighten (vasoconstriction) and the heart rate to rise in response to stress, which raises blood pressure. Objective: At the Tresna Werdha Natar Social Home in South Lampung Regency, this study is to determine the association between stress levels and the prevalence of hypertension among the elderly in 2025.Method: This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study is all elderly people in the Tresna Werdha Natar Social Home, South Lampung Regency in 2025 as respondents and stress levels are measured using a validated questionnaire while hypertension status is determined based on measurements. blood pressure according to WHO standards. In this study the sampling techniques used were total sampling and purposive sampling.Results: Based on the results of the study, it shows that out of 30 respondents who did not experience stress were 8 respondents (26.7%), and mild stress with 12 respondents (40.0%), moderate stress with 1 respondent (3.3%), and those who experienced severe stress were 6 respondents (20.0%). and some who experienced very severe stress with 3 respondents (10.0%).And respondents who experienced hypertension level 1 with a total of 18 respondents (60.0%), while hypertension level 2 amounted to 7 people (23.3%) and hypertension level 3 amounted to 5 respondents (16.7%). Stress levels and hypertension in the Tresna Werdha social home are significantly correlated, according to the statistical test results, which showed a p-value of 0.005 <0.05.Conclusion: The prevalence of hypertension among senior citizens at the Tresna Werdha communal home in 2025 is correlated with stress levels.Suggestion: It is hoped that it can increase knowledge about stress prevention, especially in the elder.
