Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has fundamentally transformed the business landscape. Businesses are increasingly reliant on data to make effective, market-oriented decisions. Within the context of business information systems, ChatGPT can be utilized as an innovative tool to optimize data analysis processes, provide deeper market insights, and even make predictions about future trends. The aim of this research is to explore and test the potential of ChatGPT as an innovative tool in analyzing data and predicting market trends within the context of business information systems. This research employs a literature review approach with a qualitative methodology and descriptive analysis. Data were obtained from Google Scholar for the period of 2003-2024. The study results indicate that in an era where data has become the most valuable asset for companies, the ability to analyze and understand data effectively is key to success. In this context, the role of ChatGPT as an innovative tool for data analysis and market trend prediction in business information systems becomes highly significant. ChatGPT possesses the capability to comprehend and process human language with a high level of complexity, thus enabling it to harness data in various beneficial ways for companies.

Abstract

Finding or determining the solution of an equation, either a linear equation or a non-linear equation, is a process of finding or determining the value of an independent variable so that if its value is substituted into the equation, it produces a value of zero. The solution of the equation is called the roots of the equation or zero values. There are three ways or methods to solve the equation, the first is analytic method, the second is numerical method, and the third is using numerical approach method of metaheuristic algorithm. Analytical method is a method of solving mathematical models by applying familiar algebraic formulas, while numerical methods and metaheuristic algorithms are used if the mathematical model used is complex and difficult to solve using analytical methods. Solutions obtained using analytical methods are called true solutions, while solutions from numerical methods and metaheuristic algorithms are approximations or approximate solutions. Although the solution from using numerical methods or metaheuristic algorithms is an approximate solution, we can make this approximate solution as accurate as possible so that the difference or error from the true solution is very small. In this study, the two methods used to solve non-linear equations are the bisection method and the numerical approximation method using the dynamic spiral metaheuristic algorithm. The aim of this research is to find the roots of non-linear equations using two numerical approximation methods. Keywords : Solution; Non-Linear Equation; Numerical Methods.

Abstract

Downtime mesin yang tinggi pada proses produksi menjadi salah satu kendala utama dalam pencapaian target produksi di PT. Yorozu Automotive Indonesia. Salah satu mesin yang paling sering mengalami gangguan adalah mesin stamping 800T yang berperan penting sebagai mesin awal dalam proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komponen kritis penyebab downtime serta merumuskan strategi perawatan yang optimal dengan menerapkan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Data yang dianalisis berupa Time Between Failure (TBF) dan Time To Repair (TTR) selama periode November 2023 – Oktober 2024 dengan distribusi kerusakan diuji menggunakan distribusi Weibull, Lognormal, Normal, dan Eksponensial. Perhitungan keandalan dilakukan dengan menentukan nilai Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) dan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR). Berdasarkan analisis FMEA, komponen dies memiliki nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi yaitu 720, sehingga memerlukan prioritas perawatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen dies memiliki nilai MTBF sebesar 199.7 jam dengan MTTR 0.8 jam, feeder roll memiliki nilai MTBF sebesar 109.72 jam dengan MTTR 0.3 jam, sedangkan shutter memiliki nilai MTBF sebesar 171.72 jam dengan MTTR 0.3 jam. Nilai MTBF terkecil terdapat pada feeder roll, yang berarti komponen ini memiliki umur kehandalan yang lebih rendah dan membutuhkan perhatian pemeliharaan lebih intensif. Penerapan metode RCM dan FMEA dapat digunakan untuk menyusun strategi perawatan yang lebih efektif, antara lain time directed maintenance dan condition directed maintenance pada dies, condition directed maintenance pada feeder roll, serta condition directed maintenance  dan run to failure dengan inspeksi rutin pada shutter.
