Abstract. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory joint disease caused by autoimmune disease. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can cause severe damage to the joints and surrounding tissue and cause problems with other diseases such as heart, lung or nervous system problems if not treated, so there is the potential for drug interactions due to administration of other additional drugs. The aim of this study is to determine the number of drug prescriptions that have the potential to cause interactions and the mechanism of drug interactions that occur as well as their severity in RA patients at Al-Ihsan Hospital, Bandung Regency in 2023. Sample data was taken retrospectively from the patient's medical records at the hospital. Drug interaction analysis was carried out using Stockley's Drug Interaction E-book, Drugs.com and journals. The analysis results obtained in the form of the number of recipes that have the potential for interactions are then classified based on the interaction mechanism and severity level. Based on the 140 prescriptions studied, there were 103 prescriptions that had potential drug interactions, 8 prescriptions had interactions between antirheumatoid drugs and antirheumatoid drugs and 95 prescriptions had interactions between antirheumatoid drugs and other drugs. There were 273 incidents of potential drug interactions from the 103 prescriptions with 145 (53.11%) pharmacodynamic interaction mechanisms and 128 (46.89%) pharmacokinetic interactions. Meanwhile, based on the severity level, there were 19 (6.96%) minor interactions, 233 (85.35%) moderate interactions and 21 (7.69%) major interactions. Abstrak. Rheumatoid arthritis merupakan penyakit peradangan sendi kronis yang disebabkan oleh autoimun. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) dapat menimbulkan kerusakan yang parah pada sendi dan jaringan sekitarnya dan menyebabkan masalah pada penyakit lain seperti masalah jantung, paru-paru atau sistem saraf jika tidak diobati, sehingga terdapat potensi terjadinya interaksi obat karena pemberian obat tambahan lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jumlah peresepan obat yang berpotensi menimbulkan interaksi dan mekanisme interaksi obat yang terjadi serta tingkat keparahannya pada pasien RA di RSUD Al-Ihsan Kabupaten Bandung tahun 2023. Data sampel diambil secara retrospektif dari rekam medik pasien di rumah sakit. Analisis interaksi obat dilakukan menggunakan E-book Stockley's Drug Interaction, Drugs.com dan jurnal. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh berupa jumlah resep yang berpotensi terjadinya interaksi kemudian diklasifikasikan berdasarkan mekanisme interaksi serta tingkat keparahan. Berdasarkan 140 resep yang dikaji terdapat 103 resep yang memiliki potensi interaksi obat, 8 resep merupakan interaksi obat antirheumatoid dengan obat antirheumatoid dan 95 resep interaksi obat antirheumatoid dengan obat lain. Terdapat 273 kejadian potensi interaksi obat dari 103 resep tersebut dengan mekanisme interaksi farmakodinamik sebanyak 145 (53,11% dan interaksi farmakokinetik sebanyak 128 (46,89%). Sedangkan berdasarkan tingkat keparahannya, terdapat 19 (6,96%) interaksi minor, 233 (85,35%) interaksi moderate dan 21 (7,69%) interaksi mayor.
