Abstract

Tihu Village, located in Bone Pantai district, is one of the coastal villages of Tomini Bay where Tihu village is a village that has abundant fishery potential, but has not been utilized optimally. Through community service programs, community empowerment is carried out, especially mothers to utilize fish potential for into processed products that can support the welfare of the community. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to mothers with participatory learning techniques and direct practical assistance in the field. The method applied in the implementation of service activities in Tihu Village is through training methods with participatory learning techniques and direct practice of processing fish into odeng or Korean fish cake. The output of this activity is the creation of processed fish products in the form of odeng or Korean fish cake. The long-term target is that processed fish products can be an alternative source of livelihood that can improve the community's economy.

Abstract

Desa Buluwatu berada di daerah pesisir pantai Laut Sulawesi yang memiliki sumberdaya perikanan dan kelautan yang sangat melimpah namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Masyarakat Desa Buluwatu sebagian besar berprofesi sebagai nelayan tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan di Desa Buluwatu Kecamatan Sumalata Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan yang meliputi analisis biaya, analisis penerimaan nelayan, analisis pendapatan/keuntungan, analisis pendapatan non nelayan, dan analisis pendapatan keluarga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan yaitu sebesar Rp. 2.405.714 per bulannya, maka keluarga nelayan dikategorikan berpenghasilan sedang.

Abstract

Abstract The level of community welfare reflects the increasing quality of life of a family because community welfare is the essence of development. Families with a higher level of welfare mean that they have a better quality of life so that in the end the family is able to create better conditions to improve their welfare. This research aims to determine the level of welfare of the fishing fishing community in Bubaa Village, Paguyaman Pantai District. This research method uses a survey method. Data collection using purposive sampling method. The number of samples took as many as 15 people. The data collected is in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected by means of observation and interviews guided by questionnaires. Secondary data is collected through various sources such as books, websites or government documents. Analysis of the research data using descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the results of calculations through the indicators of the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2015, it can be concluded that of the 15 respondents who were taken as a sample to measure the level of welfare of fishing communities, there were 5 people or 33% who belonged to families with high levels of welfare and 10 people or 67% belonged to in families with moderate levels of well-being. Of the 3 (three) criteria used, it basically shows that most of the fishermen in Bubaa Village, Paguyaman Pantai District, belong to a family with a prosperous standard of living level II (two) with a percentage score of 11-14. Keywords: welfare level; fishing community; catch   Abstrak Tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat mencerminkan kualitas hidup dari sebuah keluarga meningkat karena kesejahteraan masyarakat merupakan hakikat dari sebuah pembagunan. Keluarga dengan tingkat kesejahteraan yang lebih tinggi berarti memiliki kualitas hidup yang lebih baik sehingga pada akhirnya keluarga tersebut mampu menciptakan kondisi yang lebih baik untuk bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat nelayan tangkap di Desa Bubaa Kecamatan Paguyaman Pantai. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 15 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara yang dipandu dengan kuesioner. Data sekunder dikumpulkan melalui berbagai sumber seperti buku, situs, atau dokumen pemerintah. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan melalui indikator Badan Pusat Statistik tahun 2015, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari 15 responden yang diambil sebagai sampel untuk mengukur tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat nelayan tangkap ada 5 orang atau 33% yang tergolong dalam keluarga dengan tingkat kesejahteraan tinggi dan 10 orang atau 67% tergolong dalam keluarga dengan tingkat kesejahteraan sedang. Dari 3 (tiga) kriteria yang digunakan tersebut pada dasarnya menujukkan bahwa sebagian besar nelayan di Desa Bubaa Kecamatan Paguyaman Pantai tergolong dalam keluarga taraf hidupnya sejahtera tingat II (dua) dengan nilai presentase berada pada nilai skor 11-14. Abstract

This study aims to determine about income analysis fishermen's income when catching Nike fish (Awaous melanocephalus) in Karya Murni Village, Paguyaman District, Boalemo Regency. The research method are interview and direct observation which was analyzed descriptive quantitative. In addition, this research indicated that the total costs incurred by Nike fish fishermen in catching Nike fish are IDR 5.220.500, while the total income of Nike fish fishermen are IDR 7,000,000, and the profit obtained from catching Nike fish are IDR 1.779.500. Return Cost Ratio (RCR) from the Nike fishing was 1.34 (R/C>1), so this business is worth to develop. However, at the Break Effect Point (BEP) production was 149 kg, it was mean that fishermen had to produce 149 kg of Nike fish achieved from individual respondents of Nike fish fishermen in order to occur the BEP. Meanwhile, the Break Effect Point (BEP) price achieved was IDR 26.103, which means that Nike fish fishermen must get a profit of more than IDR 26.103 to return on investment.
