Abstract

Growth rapid population causing volumes of daily waste in Kendari City to increases, reasons that need Temporary Disposal Sites (TPS) need to be noticed. Image data is used to obtain information on land use in determining TPS land physique suitability. This study was conducted in the District of Wua-wua because it owns the most densely populated settlement in Kendari City. This study aims to : (1) Determine Temporary TPS land physique suitability using Sentinel imagery and Google Earth Images; and (2) Determine a new location for Temporary TPS. The sample was determined based on houses, including house size 10 houses, 40 houses, and big houses size 50 houses. Parameters used in determining suitability physique TPS land is the distance from settlement, road, and river. Data was analyzed using the Normalized Difference Built-Up Index (NDBI) to obtain index density buildings and overlays for suitability physique land and quantity Temporary TPS needs. Research results namely : (1) There are three suitable Temporary TPS land that is No in accordance covering an area of 486 ha, enough suit 308 ha and very corresponds to 107 ha; (2) Need for TPS in the District Wua-wua that is 55 units and spread throughout Subdistrict Wua-Wua Kendari City.

Abstract

The urban area of Muna Regency is experiencing very rapid development, this triggers various problems, namely increasing population and urban development, increasing vehicles that affect air pollution and lack of provision of green open space in urban areas, so that these problems trigger the increase of Urban Heat Island (UHI) in Raha. This study aims to compare land cover classification methods based on spectral indices and class signature to the formation of UHI and also to find out how the distribution of Urban Heat Island in urban areas of Muna Regency. The materials used in this research are SHP of Muna Regency, BPS data in 2022, Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS image, and Google Earth image data. The methods used in this research are Spectral Indices and class signature. The results of this study show that the area of spectral indices analysis in the form of Normalized Difference Built-Up Index (NDBI) is 2052.29 ha. As for the class signature, it can be seen in the area of built-up land, which is 1533.65 ha. The area is an urban area that has many buildings which are UHI distribution areas. The distribution of UHI in Raha Urban Area shows that the area affected by UHI is dominated by the Katobu Sub-district area which is the center of Raha Urban Area with a temperature of 25.92 - 32.36°C.

Abstract

UAV drones can yield differences in volume compared to the actual volume in stockpile volume calculations when compared to measurements obtained using a Total Station. The measurement method using drone photos can streamline labor compared to Total Station utilities, with both utilizing processed data in the form of point clouds. This research aims to: (1) Determine nickel stockpile volumes using drone photos; (2) Compare volume between drone photos and Total Station. Parameters encompass flight height, drone speed, overlap, and camera angle. Stockpile volumes are calculated using methods Extended Trapezoidal Rule. Research outcomes include: (1) Determination of stockpile volumes using drones is feasible through photogrammetry with Struktur torm motiontechniques; (2) Volume accuracy using Extended Trapezoidal Rule method is 0.033% for dome 1, 0.833% for dome 2, 0.415% for dome 3, 0.298% for dome 4, 0.242% for dome 5, 0.007% for dome 6.

Abstract

Changes in land use can affect the Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in river water. Higher erosion levels due to land clearing result in increased TSS levels. This study was conducted at the Wanggu River Basin Estuary in 2014 and 2023, with the aim of understanding land use changes, determining TSS distribution, and assessing the impact of land use changes on TSS levels. The data used include land use maps from 2014-2023 derived from Landsat imagery for 2014 and 2023, and TSS data obtained from field surveys. The data were analyzed using overlay and quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the study indicate that the total land use change in the Wanggu River Basin from 2014 to 2023 covers an area of 6,570 hectares (19.28%) of the total Wanggu River Basin area. The highest land use change occurred in forest areas, which decreased by 2,054.39 hectares (6.03%), while the smallest change occurred in water bodies with a reduction of 5.72 hectares (0.02%). The TSS levels in the Wanggu River Basin Estuary increased at 13 observation stations from 2014 to 2023, with the largest TSS change occurring at station 3, where levels rose from 85,439 mg/l (2014) to 142,609 mg/l (2023). The land use changes from 2014 to 2023 have influenced the increase in TSS levels in the Wanggu River Basin due to the significant reduction in forest areas, which has led to higher erosion rates.

Abstract

The Land Value Zone (ZNT) is interpreted as an area that represents the same land value on plots of land in certain region, the boundaries of which are in accordance with its landuse. ZNT is determined based on the market value of land, making it useful for determining land service rates, determining land transaction rates in the community, and as a basis for determining the Taxable Sale Value (NJOP) for Land and Building Taxes (PBB). This research was conducted in the Tirawuta District and aimed to: (1) Determine the Land Value Zone; (2) Determine the potential for regional original revenue (PAD) based on the Land Value Zone Map. In this study, a Land Value Zone map was created using a sales comparison approach that overlaid with the Tirawuta District Administrative Map and the 2022 PBB Block Map, then compared with the land value based on NJOP. The results of this study are: (1) There are 98 Land Value Zones with the highest land value of Rp.303.000/m2 in the Rate-Rate Subdistrict. While the lowest land value is Rp.6.000/m2 in Roko-Roko Subdistrict with an average standard deviation of 4,5%; (2) The increase in regional income based on the comparison between transaction prices and NJOP value is 457%.

Abstract

Tidal flood is one of the disaster threats in Central Buton Regency. The phenomenon of tidal flood is caused by rising sea levels which have an impact on coastal and beach areas. At disaster mitigation, this research aims to; (1) Determine tidal flood hazard; (2) Determine tidal flood vulnerability. The tidal flood hazard parameters include: altitude, slope, aspect, distance from the sea, distance from the river, land use, rainfall, drainage density and soil type. Tidal flood vulnerability is analyzed based on physical vulnerability parameters including parameters of houses, public facilities and critical facilities. The data in this study were analyzed using scoring, weighting and overlay methods. The results of this study are: (1) The hazard level of tidal floods high class covering  292,30 acre (0.38%) in Gu, Lakudo, Mawasangka, Mawasangka Tengah, Mawasangka Timur and Sangia Wambulu, medium class covering 2.315,07 acre (3,02%), low class covering 8.131,16 acre (10,62%) and safe area of 65.823,92 acre (85.97%); (2)Areas that have high physical vulnerability, namely the coastal areas of Gu, Lakudo, Mawasangka, Mawasangka Timur, Sangia Wambulu.
