<![CDATA[Islamic Religious Education (Indonesian: Pendidikan Agama Islam or PAI) has a crucial role in shaping the character and moral values of students, especially in the midst of the complexity of social and cultural diversity. This study comprehensively explores the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning in schools and madrasahs with a differentiation paradigm. The research is motivated by the need to improve the quality of PAI learning that is responsive to the diversity of students. Using qualitative research methods and a thematic approach, data were collected through literature study and participatory observation. The results show that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum provides greater flexibility in the preparation of PAI curriculum, enabling the implementation of learning strategies that are more responsive to the needs of diverse learners. The implications of this study provide a strong basis for the development of educational policies that are adaptive and supportive of diverse learning approaches in schools and madrasahs. Abstrak: Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk karakter dan nilai moral peserta didik, terutama di tengah kompleksitas keberagaman sosial dan budaya. Penelitian ini secara komprehensif mengeksplorasi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di sekolah dan madrasah dengan paradigma diferensiasi. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI yang responsif terhadap keberagaman peserta didik. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan tematik, data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan observasi partisipatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan fleksibilitas yang lebih besar dalam penyusunan kurikulum PAI, memungkinkan penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik yang beragam. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang adaptif dan mendukung pendekatan pembelajaran yang beragam di sekolah dan madrasah.]]>
