Abstract

The quality of teachers is a problem faced in the world of education. Quality teachers can be achieved when teacher professionalism is formed. Professional teachers are teachers who have a number of competencies, namely: pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competencies. One way to improve teacher quality is to ensure that teachers reflect and make continuous improvement through classroom action research training. This service aims to deepen the knowledge and appreciation of prospective teachers about how to think and work collaboratively in solving problems in the classroom and to train skills in conducting classroom action research. Activities are carried out using Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) and Community Empowerment (CE) approaches using extension methods (lectures and discussions), practice, and mentoring. The results of the service implementation activities showed a very enthusiastic response for prospective teacher alumni where they wanted this kind of activity to be carried out regularly and if possible in a larger scope. From the results of the analysis of the results of the pre-test, it was revealed that the knowledge of the Alumni about CAR was not complete and still mixed with the type of quasi-experimental research. On the other hand, it was also revealed that knowledge about the instruments and observers in CAR was still minimal. After being given a detailed explanation by 5 presenters, they understood it, where almost 100% of the participants had correctly answered questions about CAR. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penggunaan model Discovery Learning pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIII K SMP N 1 Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 Juli dan 01 Agustus 2025 di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu, tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dalam penelitian dianalisis menggunakan observasi Keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII K SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang. Terbukti pada siklus I hasil belajar peserta didik 35,71% pada siklus II 89,28% dengan peningkatan sebesar 53,57% kategori baik, kualifikasi tuntas dan aktivitas peserta didik siklus I 77,77% pada siklus II 90,27% dengan peningkatan sebesar 12,50% kategori sangat baik, kualifikasi berhasil. Sedangkan untuk keterampilan guru siklus I 69,23% pada siklus II 90,38% dengan peningkatan sebesar 21,15% kategori sangat baik kualifikasi berhasil.

Abstract

This research is about the structure and diversity of mangrove vegetation species on the Coconut Beach Coast, Mata Air Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency, carried out with the aim of understanding the structure and diversity of mangrove vegetation species on the Coconut Beach Coast, Mata Air Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency. This research was conducted on the Coconut Beach Coast, Mata Air Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency in August 2025. The method used in this study is the line transect method by using 7 observation transects, each transect consisting of 3 plots. The parameters of this study are to understand the structure of mangrove vegetation and the diversity of mangrove species on the Coconut Beach Coast. Based on the results of the research conducted on the structure and diversity of mangrove vegetation on the Coconut Beach Coast, 7 types of mangroves were found, namely Avicennia marina, Sonneratia alba, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora stylosa, Rhizophora mucronata, Ceriops tagal, and Excoecaria agallocha. The species with the highest INP value is Avicennia Marina at 80.90%, and the diversity value of mangrove vegetation species at Kelapa Tinggi Beach is considered moderate with an H’ value of 1.81.

Abstract

One of the soft skills that need to be honed for students is creativity. Creativity is the courage to try new ideas and look for alternative answers to the problems faced. The existence of creative souls can later become an asset in building an entrepreneurial spirit. Ecoprint is one of the media to hone students' creativity while exploring the potential of the surrounding natural environment. Ecoprint is the transfer of natural original colors on fabrics that have high absorption. There are several techniques used to produce ecoprint motifs including pounding, boiling and steam techniques. The pounding technique means beating the leaves on a piece of white cloth. This beating is used to bring out the natural colors in the leaves/flowers. The purpose of this training is to hone students' creativity and develop the spirit of entrepreneurship through ecoprint training that utilizes environmental potential. The method used was in 4 stages, namely, preparation, socialization, training and evaluation. The participants of this ecoprint training were very enthusiastic. This is shown by the results of a survey via google form to students regarding the suitability of the training objectives, the attractiveness of the material, the way of delivery of the speakers, the ease of practicing ecoprinting. The survey results showed 90% of students were satisfied with the activity.
