Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah salah satu dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, PKM merupakan wujud dari keterkaitan ilmu, amal dan transformasi sosial. PKM berfungsi untuk  menjembatani perguruan tinggi  dan  masyarakat dalam menghadapi berbagai problem  dan  kebutuhan sosial.  Perguruan tinggi dituntut  menjadi pusat pengembangan ilmu  pengetahuan dan  juga tempat mengimplementasikan ilmu pengetahuan untuk kepentingan masyarakat luas. Pembelajaran Pancasila di Sekolah Dasar memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik  sesuai dengan nilai- nilai  dasar bangsa Indonesia. Namun,  dalam implementasinya, masih terdapat berbagai tantangan yang  dihadapi oleh para guru dalam menyampaikan materi  Pancasila secara menarik dan interaktif. Salah satu  tantangan utama adalah keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang  dapat  meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses  belajar  mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil  observasi awal  dan wawancara dengan beberapa guru SD, ditemukan bahwa metode  konvensional dalam mengajar seperti  ceramah dan diskusi sederhana adalah metode yang paling banyak digunakan. Seiring perkembangan jaman dimana teknologi digital menjadi bagian kehidupan sehari-hari maka metode konvensonal sering kali kurang  efektif dalam menarik  perhatian siswa. Di era digital saat ini, di mana anak-anak lebih akrab dengan teknologi dan media interaktif. Permasalahan ini berdampak pada efektivitas pembelajaran Pancasila yang  seharusnya dapat  disampaikan dengan cara yang   lebih  inovatif dan  menarik   bagi   siswa. Tanpa   adanya upaya untuk  meningkatkan kompetensi guru  dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran digital, pembelajaran Pancasila  berpotensi tetap bersifat monoton dan kurang  mampu membangun pemahaman mendalam bagi  peserta  didik.Untuk itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi teknis dan kreativitas guru SD Vianney dalam merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran menjadi game edukasi berbasis digital.

Abstract

As the complexity and user volume of web applications continue to grow, performance testing has become increasingly crucial to ensure seamless operation and reliability. This necessitates effective testing and bottleneck identification strategies. This research focuses on designing a schematic mechanism for identifying potential performance bottlenecks under extreme conditions through a series of server performance tests involving direct observation of server application and database activities at varying CPU frequencies. Performance testing employs a load testing model to assess server behavior and response when handling simulated sequences of activities from virtual visitors simultaneously filling out online employment forms in a relatively short period with a large number of users. The primary tools utilized are Apache JMeter as a load generator equipped with the JMeter Stepping Thread plugin. Elasticsearch serves as the repository database for sensor data collected by Beats agents deployed on both application and database servers, either directly or through Logstash. Kibana, a graphical tool, interprets data retrieved via Kibana Query Language (KQL) from Elasticsearch into visual dashboard representations, which are further analyzed to identify potential and actual performance bottlenecks.

Abstract

The heart is a vital organ responsible for pumping blood throughout the human body. Machine learning has become an increasingly important tool in medical forecasting, improving diagnostic accuracy and reducing human errors. This study focuses on detecting heart disease using machine learning algorithms. It aims to compare the performance of three key algorithms random forest (RF), support vector machine (SVM), and neural networks (NN), in predicting heart disease. Using a patient dataset with both nominal and numeric attributes, record mining techniques were applied through Orange software. The target classes indicated the absence (0) or presence (1) of heart disorders. The evaluation was based on the prediction accuracy of each algorithm. Results show that SVM achieved the highest accuracy, with a rate of 85%, outperforming RF and NN. The findings suggest that the SVM algorithm is a reliable tool for heart disease prediction, helping reduce diagnostic errors and improve medical decision-making.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve electrical safety literacy among older adults through education on lightning risk and household grounding systems. The program used a participatory educational method consisting of partner needs identification, preparation of learning materials and instruments, pre-test, visual education, grounding system explanation, interactive discussion, post-test, and follow-up reflection. The materials covered misconceptions about smartphones and lightning, the function of grounding, household electrical safety, circuit breakers, and safe actions during thunderstorms. Evaluation was conducted using five indicators. The results showed improvements across all indicators: understanding of lightning misconceptions increased from 40% to 90%, grounding function from 35% to 88%, electrical safety from 50% to 92%, actions during lightning from 45% to 85%, and household installation understanding from 30% to 80%. The average increase reached 47%. These results indicate that simple, visual, and contextual education can improve older adults' understanding of grounding and lightning safety. The program supports community-based electrical safety literacy and encourages families to check household electrical installations with qualified technicians.
