Abstract

Objective: Limited agricultural land in rural areas due to land conversion drives the need for innovation in farming, and this study aims to implement a hydroponic system and a Family Medicinal Garden (TOGA) as an alternative cultivation method in the limited space of the Ketimang Village community, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency. Method: The methods used include clearing the planting area, sowing seeds, and arranging plants according to function and aesthetics. Result: The results of the study indicate that the community can utilize limited land to obtain fresh vegetables and family medicinal plants, while simultaneously increasing food security and household economic opportunities. Novelty: The application of the hydroponic system and TOGA has proven to be efficient, productive, and has the potential to provide added value through sustainable management.

Abstract

Objective:  This study examines the contribution of QRIS to the digital transformation of MSMEs in Ketimang Village through collaboration with Bank Mandiri and the support of the KKN program. Method: A descriptive qualitative method was employed using observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Results: The findings indicate that QRIS positively impacts transaction efficiency (4.55), financial transparency (4.46), and digital market expansion (4.34). Bank Mandiri plays a vital role in strengthening MSME competitiveness (4.48), while the KKN program effectively enhances digital literacy and provides technical assistance (4.51). Product innovation is also considered important, with a score of 4.45. Challenges remain in terms of limited capital (4.07) and insufficient digital literacy (4.45). The highest-rated aspect is stakeholder synergy (4.70), highlighting that multiparty collaboration is fundamental for establishing an inclusive and sustainable MSME ecosystem. Novelty: The digital transformation of MSMEs through QRIS can be optimized through continuous improvements in digital literacy, better access to financing, and sustained collaborative support among stakeholders.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn response to the growing demand for graduates equipped with 21st-century skills, higher education is increasingly transitioning from the traditional Teacher-Centered Learning (TCL) paradigm to a Student-Centered Learning (SCL) approach. This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of the SCL method's implementation within an Indonesian university, specifically aiming to describe its impact on students' conceptual understanding, intrinsic motivation, and active engagement. A qualitative descriptive methodology was employed, gathering data from 100 second-semester students and 10 lecturers in an Elementary School Teacher Education program. The primary instruments included an online questionnaire for students, interviews with lecturers, and direct classroom observations, with data analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and verified through triangulation. The findings overwhelmingly demonstrate the method's success; for instance, 76.6% of students reported better conceptual understanding, 78.6% felt more motivated to study independently, and 80% affirmed that the lecturer’s facilitator role enhanced their critical thinking skills. It is concluded that while challenges such as student dependency and varying lecturer readiness persist, the SCL approach effectively creates an interactive and relevant learning experience that successfully fosters key competencies like independence and critical problem-solving.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore the impact of active learning models on student learning outcomes in the PGSD Study Program in semester 2 using a qualitative approach. Method: The method chosen was a qualitative survey through an open-ended questionnaire, combined with a phenomenological approach to deeply understand students' personal experiences of active learning. A total of 79 respondents participated in this study. Data were analyzed by thematic analysis to find meaning and patterns in the learning experience. Result: The results showed that the active learning model had a positive impact on increasing students' participation, understanding of the material, and sense of responsibility for learning. Students feel more cognitively and affectively fulfilled, and can connect learning with real-world experiences. Novelty: The findings confirm the importance of andragogy principles in higher education, where students as adult learners benefit more from participatory and reflective learning processes.
