Abstract

KIP-K diperuntukan untuk calon mahasiswa yang akan memasuki jenjang S1. Pada perhitungan skor KIP-K tersebut harus dapat selektif dalam pendaftaran KIP-K. Untuk membantu pihak terkait maka dibutuhkannya sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan dalam merekomendasikan calon – calon penerima beasiswa KIP-K khususnya di Perguruan Tinggi, sistem ini dibangun menggunakan metode SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique). SMART merupakan suatu teknik pendukung keputusan yang menggunakan banyak kriteria dalam hal ini kriteria KIP-K, SMART dapat memberikan bobot kriteria dengan instan dan dinamis. Hasil yang dapat dipresentasikan untuk pengujian ini memiliki hasil 80% lebih selektif. Hasil tersebut dapat dijadikan acuan untuk rekomendasi calon penerima beasiswa KIP-K

Abstract

Currently, the advancement of information systems and technology offers numerous advantages to human existence, encompassing nearly every aspect of life, including strategic planning. Good strategic planning implementation will benefit the organizations that use it as well as commercial entities like small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM). In Padalarang Village, the industry that can employ the greatest number of specialized workers is UMKM. There is no questioning UMKM's existence because it has demonstrated its ability to endure, act as a catalyst for the local economy, and grow it.  One of the communities in the Padalarangs Prefecture is Padalarang Village. West Java's West Bandung district has potential in the UMKM field, and the strategy's village layout supports this idea. The purpose of the research was to develop an information system strategy for Padalarang Village's UMKM, with the goal of motivating UMKM to enhance benefits using information systems. The Ward and Peppard methods were employed, with phases for SWOT, Value Chain, and Five Force analysis. Interviews and questionnaires were sent to pertinent parties throughout the data collecting phase. The study's conclusion is that UMKM needs to be proficient in the use of information technology to become an innovation to develop its business.

Abstract

Ward and Peppard are used as the primary approach in planning information system strategies. This method involves identifying user needs, analyzing the business environment, evaluating information technology, and planning and implementing appropriate strategies. In the context of the Information Systems Study Program, this strategy will help improve the effectiveness of communication, information management, and appropriate decision-making. The research will analyze SWOT, value chain and Five Forces. The data collected will be analyzed and presented in a descriptive manner. The results of the research are expected to provide practical guidance for the Information Systems Study Program in planning and implementing effective information system strategies.The results of this research will make a positive contribution to the National University of the Republic of Indonesia Information System Studies Program in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of decision-making through the implementation of appropriate information system strategy.The aim of this study is to design and implement a decision-making information system strategy using the Ward and Peppard methodology in the Information Systems Study Program at the National University of the Republic of Indonesia. Preparing an effective information system stratega crucial factor in improving the efficiency and success of decision-making in an organization.
