Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran hukum tajwid terhadap kualitas Qira’atul Qur’an pada santri pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Ulum Sarampu Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Ulum Sarampu Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Instrumen kunci penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara, observasi dan beberapa dokumentasi. Adapun metode pengumpulan data riset lapangan berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran ilmu tajwid untuk meningkatkan  kualitas qira’atul qur’an pada Santri Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Ulum Sarampu Kabupaten Polewali Mandar adalah sangat baik karena santri mampu melafalkan huruf sesuai dengan makhraj dan sifatnya. Faktor pendukung, banyaknya kitab-kitab qira’ah, pengasuh yang berkompeten sehingga lebih mudah menerapkan pembelajaran hukum tajwid. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya pengasuh dan beragamnya latar belakang santri. Upaya mengatasi hambatan hukum tajwid adalah, menyiapkan pendidik yang berkualitas serta ahli dalam bidang tajwid dan menyiapkan media berupa alat peraga, proyektor dan buku panduan.

Abstract

This research tried to find out factors that cause students reluctant to speak English at STKIP Tomakaka Tiwikrama. Reluctance to speak can cause difficulties in a student’s life as troubling in expressing her opinion and troubling in giving information to the other. In the condition of understanding a factor causing reluctance, the students to speak is an alternative to solving the event. The objective of this research is to find out factors that cause students reluctant to speak English at STKIP Tomakaka Tiwikrama. This study used a qualitative approach because it generated the data through the use of instruments such as field notes and transcriptions from observations and interviews. This study also used data from observation and interviews from students in STKIP Tomakaka Tiwikrama Academic year 2020 and 2021. After conducting this research entitled “The factors that cause the students‟ reluctance to speak English at STKIP Tomakaka Tiwikrama” some conclusions can be drawn. Based on the data analysis from the research, it could be concluded that there are two factors of students'‟ reluctance to speak English at STKIP Tomakaka Tiwikrama. The first one was the language factor, namely: pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. The second one was psychological factors, which are: lack of confidence, shyness, anxiety and motivation.

Abstract

This research tried to solve these difficulties by focusing on improving the writing skills of students through WhatsApp applications by answering the questions (1) Is the use of WhatsApp applications effective in improving the writing skills of students? To achieve the aims, the researcher implemented research to improve writing skills by the pre-experimental method. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Parepare. The subject of this research were students of eleventh grade in SMAN 2 Parepare in the academic year 2022-2023. The population of the research was the students in SMAN 2 Parepare. In this research, the researcher used two instruments. The first instrument is a writing test that mentions a pre-test. The second instrument is the writing test that mentioned post-test. Based on the analysis, the research found that WhatsApp application as a media in teaching could make the students interested in learning writing. Teaching and learning the English language by using WhatsApp is regarded as the newest innovation of the English language teaching strategy.
