<![CDATA[Perkembangan kepribadian dalam psikologi sastra dapat dijelaskan menggunakan teori psikoanalisis. Teori ini mengasumsikan perkembangan suatu karakter dapat terjadi akibat konflik psikologis yang dialami oleh karakter tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, tema yang diangkat adalah analisis psikologi tokoh utama dalam kisah Hikayah al-Malik Syahruman Wa Ibnuhu al-Malik Qamaruzzaman. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang ditinjau aspek psikoanalisis sastra oleh Sigmund Freud. Adapun prosedur yang dilakukan antara lain (1) pengumpulan data kata, kalimat dan dialog; (2) klafisifikasi data berdasar unsur instrinsik dan psikologis; dan (3) menyajikan temuan penelitian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah acuan referensi analisa perkembangan karakter seseorang berdasarkan Id, Ego dan Superego. Melalui pemahaman ketiga aspek tersebut pada naskah penelitian yang digunakan, harapan keluaran penelitian ini adalah dapat digunakan sebagai pembanding dan referensi dalam memecahkan masalah-masalah pengembangan karakter dan psikologis yang ditemukan dalam karya sastra lainya. This theory assumes that the development of a character can occurs due to the psychological conflicts experienced by the character. In this study, the theme is the psychological analysis of the main character in the story of Al-Malik Syahruman and his son Al-Malik Qamaruzzaman. The analysis method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on the psychological aspects of literary psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud. The procedures include data collection of words, sentences, and dialogues; classification of data based on intrinsic and psychological elements; and presentation of the research findings. The purpose of this research is to serve as a reference for analyzing the development of a character based on the Id, Ego, and Superego. By understanding these three aspects in the research manuscript, the expected outcome of this research is to be used as a comparison and reference in solving character development and psychological issues found in other literary works. Keywords: psychoanalytic theory, personality structure, Id, ego, and superego ملخص يمكن تفسير تطور الشخصية في علم النفس الأدبي باستخدام نظرية التحليل النفسي. تفترض هذه النظرية أن تطور الشخصية يمكن أن يحدث بسبب الصراع النفسي الذي تعاني منه الشخصية. الموضوع المطروح في هذه الدراسة هو التحليل النفسي للشخصية الرئيسية في قصة حكاية الملك سيهرمان وابنه الملك قمر الزمان. المنهج التحليلي المستخدم في هذا البحث هو المنهج الوصفي النوعي الذي تمت مراجعته من الجانب التحليلي النفسي للأدب بواسطة سيغموند فرويد. وتشمل الإجراءات التي تم تنفيذها (1) جمع البيانات من الكلمات والجمل والحوارات.
