Abstract

This research aims to analyze the differences and similarities between basic industrial strategy and orientation strategy in the context of business development. A basic industrial strategy covers the general approaches used by companies to operate in a particular industry, including competitive analysis, supply chain, and risk management. On the other hand, onboarding strategy focuses on adjusting and adapting business strategies to changes in the external environment, such as technology, regulations and consumer preferences. Through literature studies and case analysis, this research finds that the integration of these two strategies can provide significant competitive advantages for companies. The success of implementing a basic industrial strategy is greatly influenced by the company's ability to adapt its orientation strategy according to market dynamics and the business environment. This research concludes that a deep understanding of these two types of strategies and their appropriate implementation can help companies improve their business performance and sustainability.

Abstract

Household consumption expenditure is a key indicator that can describe the welfare of households in a region or country. Household welfare as measured by consumption is related to how the household meets its basic needs, both food and non-food. The higher the proportion of consumption expenditure for non-food, the better the standard of living or household welfare because theoretically food consumption has a maximum limit, while non-food consumption has no maximum limit (BPS, 2020).

Abstract

In the development of the world, the manufacturing industry sector continues to develop every year, this results in increased competition in the business world, especially in the economic sector. Therefore, every country is required to be more advanced and developed so that the welfare of the population is evenly guaranteed. In the business world, if the business is growing, the competition between one company and another will increase tighter. To be able to compete with other companies, the company must be able to manage all assets owned and its obligations as much as possible so that the operational activities of the company can run well according to the original plan for the company to be established.

Abstract

Aromatherapy candles made from used cooking oil represent an eco-friendly and economically valuable entrepreneurial innovation. This proposal presents the utilization of used frying oil as a base material in producing aromatherapy candles, aiming to support the circular economy concept and provide an alternative solution to environmental pollution. The product formulation combines paraffin, beeswax, and natural essential oils, offering relaxation and comfort while also opening up new business opportunities. SWOT analysis and marketing strategies based on the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) serve as the foundation for business development. The results of the study show that aromatherapy candle businesses have strong potential to attract consumer interest, especially among young people, and can deliver significant social, economic, and environmental impact.

Abstract

PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) merupakan salah satu emiten terkemuka di sektor telekomunikasi Indonesia yang menunjukkan kinerja positif dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya tarik saham EXCL sebagai pilihan investasi di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) berdasarkan kinerja fundamental, risiko, dan prospek jangka panjang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis data sekunder dari laporan keuangan, berita industri, dan referensi akademik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa EXCL mencatat peningkatan pendapatan sebesar 6% dan pertumbuhan EBITDA 13% pada tahun 2024, serta mencetak laba bersih sebesar Rp. 1,85 triliun (naik 45% YoY). Strategi ekspansi jaringan, efisiensi operasional, serta penguatan layanan berbasis data dan cloud menjadi faktor pendukung utama. Merger dengan Smartfren pada 2025 menghasilkan entitas baru “XL Smart” yang memperluas pangsa pasar hingga 27%. Meskipun begitu, tantangan integrasi, risiko pasar, dan persaingan industri tetap menjadi faktor yang perlu diwaspadai. Dalam jangka pendek, sinyal teknikal menunjukkan peluang pembelian, sedangkan untuk jangka panjang dibutuhkan pemantauan strategi pasca-merger secara disiplin. Dividen EXCL yang kompetitif juga menjadi daya tarik bagi investor. Secara keseluruhan, EXCL menunjukkan kombinasi menarik antara kinerja keuangan, posisi pasar, dan strategi pertumbuhan, menjadikannya pilihan investasi potensial di sektor telekomunikasi yang defensif dan terus berkembang. Kata Kunci: EXCL, Saham Telekomunikasi, Investasi, Merger, Strategi Bisnis, Pasar Modal Indonesia.
